Hi guys,
I've been dealing with Peyronies Disease for about 18 months. I started traction early on, before much had changed in terms of the shape of my erect cock. I got a bit fatigued with it all and slowed down with the traction around the beginning of this year, which is roughly when I started to get a curve and some hour-glassing. I'm not sure if winding back on the traction made it worse.
I've started to go a bit harder with traction again now I'm on Xiaflex. And my doctor thinks traction has prevented me from getting much worse, which he has seen with other guys with similar levels and locations of plaque. I was averaging four hours a day at the beginning, sometimes six. When I started to get sick of it I went down to about two hours every other day. Now I'm getting back to three or four hours a day.
I'd love to know what hours other guys are logging and if you think it has made a difference.
I spent about 7 months with traction at about 3 1/2 hours a day and never saw any improvement. I also worked with VED for about the same amount of time and got No improvements. So, doesn't help your curiosity at all, darn it. No sure what else to do. dplookin

Have you done or are you doing Xiaflex ?
The info I've seen says it's only effective at 6 to 8.
I've just started again and so far I'm at about 4 to 5 hours. I want to do a solid 7 to 8 for six months. It's challenging finding time.
I find 90 minutes are easier than 2 hour increments. The idea of 2 hours can stop me but 90 minutes motivates me.
BlackDiamond.............No, I have not had any experience with Xiaflex (spelling?). I have only been able to see one Urologist, and he says that he can't find any kind of lump. He was saying that I need to see a Specialist in this field. The problem with that is I have to use the VA Hospital since I am a war veteran, and they have just one specialist who is there very rarely................dplookin

That so unfortunate that they make our War Vets struggle to find good medical assistance.....I'm far from an expert but you should get in to see the specialist .....
So many guys here have had good luck with Xiaflex and hopefully that Doc is qualified and knowledgeable.........Good Luck
I am just starting using the traction device and can manage about 4 hours a day with a small break. But that is because I'm working from home at my desk. Although walking is possible with it, I can't imagine using it in public which severely limits the possible time. Don't know how I'm going to work up to 6 hours EVERY day...
