I received one round of xiaflex (2 injections), bill came at over 27,000 dollars, I am hearing so many conflicting reports on cost of this treatment, I'm dumbfounded...PLEASE, any insite into this?
That sounds horribly expensive. The cost in London, where I saw a specialist very recently, is £700 (about $1050) per injection.
I worked with my urologist's front office to choose a health plan that 1. Would cover the cost of xiaflex, and 2. She had experience navigating the bureaucracy to attain approval. It was a more expensive PPO, but I'm paying only a 50$ copayment per injection. Consider that route if open to you on next open enrollment.
