Title: Re-injury? What should I do?
Post by: MacMathuna on May 15, 2020, 05:33:39 PM
I had sex maybe twenty minutes ago and experienced some pain/soreness very near to my hinge deformity. I am worried that I have re-injured myself.
Is there anything I could do right away to decrease any worsening of my Peyronies Disease?

I though about putting it on ice and just loading up on anti-inflammatories, but I'd really like to hear other suggestions. Will skip VED for the next few days.

How much pain? Like the original injury or just soreness? I always have soreness after sex or masturbating. But it goes away. If it is more serious then need to take action. Otherwise I would say rest it, voltaren gel, heat, etc.

Thanks for your response.

I had no pain with my original injury...

Similar to the soreness I often have after sex, but more concentrated around my hinge point. My usual post-coital soreness is more diffuse.
Won't heat exacerbate inflammation? Some people say to ice when you have a new injury.
