Title: Traveling (flights) with VED and RestoreX
Post by: Dorian on April 08, 2022, 10:11:43 AM
Hi all,

As I'm packing for a few flights over the next several days I'm wondering if there will be any issues with VED (Soma with multiple cylinders/pump/grommet) and RestoreX in a checked bag. My wife is saying I should put a note in my toiletries bag stating these are for a medical need in case my bag gets pulled/opened. I was more concerned when I was considering a carry on but I thought checked would get a pass... but I guess they get scanned as well. It's a short 4 day trip but I'd rather not skip my protocol.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Dorian

I never had an issue with it. Just looks like a cylinder,  shouldn't be an issue.  The sticky note not a bad idea but you won't have an issue at all.

I totally get the travel concerns. Personally, I have concerns about literally everything. From collecting the document to choosing transportation!  I'm fairly new here too. Last month, I took a short trip with my VED and RestoreX in my checked bag. I threw in a little note about the medical necessity just in case. Honestly, had no issues at all! Security probably sees all sorts of things, and as long as it's properly packed, they seem to understand. Also, about Miami private jet charter (https://www.aerialjets.com/the-simple-guide-to-miami-private-jet-charter/) – randomly, a friend suggested it for a weekend getaway. Still on my bucket list, though!
