Title: Penis Length and Peyronie's
Post by: boomerang on April 20, 2018, 12:13:15 PM
Penis length and Peyronies.

I have done a lot of reading so here are my conclusions.
I wonder if longer penises are more prone to peyronie's?
So an erect penis over 5.2 " is longer than average.
My research tells me that the average erect penis length in the UK is 5.2 inches.
In Asia it is just over 4 " There is a reason for this.
The average vagina length is between 3-4 " but can stretch to 5-6" sometimes.
So if a man with a penis length of 6 inches has sex with a female who has a 5" or less vagina max.
The penis could be damaged by sex as it bottoms out and bends.
Another contributary factor.
Also if the female is not fully stimulated before penetration the vagina will not lengthen.
Men like to have full penetration so a smaller penis would help there.
It is noteable that countries like China and India have the smaller average size but the largest population.

Well, the glans works wonderfully as a shock absorber for the two corpora penis bodies. The glans only reaches full firmness at point of no return (PONR).

Longer penises have got to be more prone to injury simply on the fact that there is more of it. The thing is all in penetrative sex isn't necessary, I prefer to keep some exposed simply for the visual bonus, dependant on position of course, and speed lol  ;)

I don't know man, but after I did my "broscience" statistical research on this forum, I was shocked how many guys here claims to have a 7.5-9" length. It seems like all "ex-pornstars" of the world joined to this community. So if they're not lied about their size, it means one of the two points: 1. The real average penile size is not 5-5.5" and closer to 6.5-7.5" (conspiracy theory or something) 2. Longer penises are more predisposed to Peyronies Disease. Which is also probably have no scientific base.

P.S. I've seen many times on various of internet sources from many different people, that real average penile size is bigger than we think, because this "false statistics" prevents "small guys" from mass suicide. I'm not joking, I've heard this many times from many different people with many different arguments.

If you keep some out then you will not make correct contact with the clitoris.
So the vagina will not stretch enough and the lady will be displeased.
I actually did experience bottoming out and the female was quite violent and in control on top. She said she found anal painful and did not like it.
Doing some research into porn videos (purely for scientific reasons ;) I found that the guys with the longer penis always did anal sex. This is so they can get full penetration which they could not via the vagina.
And watching a TV show about men with the largest penises in the world. The one with the largest one turned gay so he could easily get anal sex.
Not many women like a large penis up the wrong un.
The porn star women have to regularly use devices to stretch their anuses because of this.
There is a serious side to this but check out tumblr if you don't beleive me.

Also check out the Ancient Greeks.
They had tiny penises and the smaller the penis the better as far as they were concerned.
They found large penises comical and used fake large penises in comedy plays.
Try Googling pictures of Ancient Greek Statues of men.

This is Priapus, and besides having a large penis, he had an upward curvature. Coincidence? Don't think so.

so i can blame my wife for this Peyronies Disease, she must have a short vagina and my glans keeps crashing into her cervix, and bending my cock when out of site, better go for a penis reduction, or put a 2 inch collar on my cock to prevent full penetration.

Interesting topic :)
I had 18 cm before Peyronies and didn't get to the bottom of any vagina, even I am living in the Far East for many years.
Or maybe my measurements were wrong :(

James,

Are you measured your BPEL or NBPEL? Because if you done a proper measurements of your penis and it was 18 cm NBPEL, it's very strange that you didn't even hit the bottom of vagina.

P.S. Or it's just means that real average is not 14-15 cm but close to 18-20 cm :-\

Tsanchez,

BPEL - Bone Pressed Erect Length
NBPEL - Non Bone Pressed Erect Length

Your fat pad is show the difference between BPEL and NBPEL. Some studies used BPEL measurements, but some used NBPEL.

why not ask members for a new survey of length with no body fat push back, or as you put it NBPEL, ok my erect penis along the top with no body fat push back is 5.5 inch.

Measured BPEL - Bone Pressed Erect Length
18 cm at 18 year old. Between my other crazy young fellows I was not between the bigger, just above the average.
Never measured again until I got Peyronies, at the age of 61. With upward curve and left bent got down to 12 cm and 1/2 girth.
Using VED, Pentox and low dose Cialis got to 13.5 cm and gained also some girth back.
Still using VED 3 to 4 times a week for maintenance. The VED keeps me night time erections, bu they are weak as I have also severe ED. But at least I have those erections that are healthy.
If I stop VED, no night time erections and shrinking back to about 12.5 cm within a month or so.

WhatNext81,

Do you mean you regained your pre Peyronies Disease erect length? Or do you gained some more length?

I lost a bit of length with peyronie's. At my consultation, I was measured, as well at my final examination. I regained just under 2".

Is there really evidence that peyronies is caused by the micro-injuries themselves?
My understanding is that the healing process is the real problem.

I was at 7. Now I'm at 5 flat-5.25 inches

Not completely understood, but the healing process begins w the microtrauma so you could call either the cause, but if healing doesn't go awry then no peyronies.

Before Peyronies and 15 years ago I was a tad below 7 inches or 18 cm.
Now 5.5 inches or 14 cm.
Stretched 6.5 or 17 cm.
All measurement are bone pressed.

I was 19.3 at 16 y.o. before fracture and peyronies, now i'm around 14.5 nbpel, looking forward to restoring back that 5 cm in some time with restorex or traction and treatments. Having a big dick, did make it easier to break in my case, but i was also very agressive with it because it was so robust, so it can be combination of both

A lot of guys here report getting injured when the girl is on top. If you think about it, this makes a longer penis more prone to getting injured. It is easier to break a longer stick by standing on it than a shorter one. Was not good at physics in school, but I think that is how it goes.

It's odd that some people in here are getting longer (length-wise) erections with VED. I'm at 7 inches BPEL but I can't reach 7 in the VED; I feel as though I would overpump to get to/past that point. I'm not going to try it because I don't want to hurt myself, but I'm guessing the only way to gain length is to pump past your natural size?

I am very wary of those studies about average length. I read an article by a urologist (sorry can't find it) which said that he believed they are not accurate. First of all it is the person measuring their own and so the might round up or exaggerate. Secondly, guys with smaller penises are less likely to part take. The urologist said you could take a least an inch off what they are calling average, so probably the average is about four inches which would mean that many of the guys posting on here penises are considerably longer than average.

@JS 1991,don't know what ved unit you are using, but i have the 3 cylinder unit, i find i get a longer penis using the 'B' cylinder than i do when using the 'C' cylinder,( 7 inch in 'B' and 6.5 in 'C' )

I agree man! I'm an asian guy. And we are known for short dicks around the world, LoL. But I have a 6.8 inch penis, that is rare length in my country. Whenever girls saw it first time, most of them said "it's huge".

Although I disagree that woman vagina shortness is reason for it. Because on this forum many guys are claiming that they never had any kind of sex. They're virgin.

The main reason is bigger and heavier things always have a greeter risk to damages. It's natural. You can break a stick if it's too long, if it's short you'll need more power to break it, and if it's too short you simply can't break it.

Wifey was always on top and got pretty animated and did hit bottom.
But she had a progressive disease which meant she was finding it more difficult to get stimulated due to nerve damage.

But that was not the only factor
The other factors like systemic inflammation, infection and antiphosphilipid syndrome were there too. The Bisoprolol after the heart attack triggered peyronies along the whole length of my penis.
Even had the wifes vagina tested because sex was painful.
But it was peyronie's causing the pain.

Check list to prevent peyronies

1. Make sure you do not have a systemic inflammation or infection.
2. Do not let her go on top because you lose control of the situation and she can accidentally damage your penis if it pops out and she bangs against the end.
3. Eat a diet that does not cause inflammation so avoid milk, wheat and alergens.
4. Stay very fit and have regular sex with you in control.
5. If your family have Dupuytrens, Ledderhose or Hypodontia or rounded shoulders in it then take care of your hands and do not bang your palms on spades or other things because this triggers dupuytrens in the other hand too and perhaps peyronies in the penis.
So the risk factors run in families. Alcohol can trigger it too.

Healing process... meaning penis injuries are common, and those who cannot heal properly develop Peyronies? Interesting theory. (really)

I have about 7.1" BPEL when fully aroused, and no major loss of length with Peyronie's but ended up with a slight twist to the right and residual ED that makes it a full erection more difficult than it used to be. My wife and I believe that mine was inadvertently caused by repeated "external" activity, which consisted of alternate-to-intercourse sexual activity (my penis pressing/rubbing her outer vaginal parts) when she was on a long term non-penetration list after a hysterectomy several years ago. I developed two internal masses (one near the head, one near the base) that resulted in hourglassing / glans blood flow problems, most of which seems to have healed and cleared up after a couple years. Still the twist and nagging ED issues as mentioned. That to say, my length was not really the cause of injury... it was the atypical physical activity we were doing.

I agree that it does seem odd that many guys online talk about 7-8" penises when that is statistically extremely rare according to this study that the OP was probably referencing (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/bju.13010)... showing 5.1-5.2" / 13cm as average. At 7.1" / 18cm that puts me in the 99th percentile of the population.

I appreciate what you all have said about other factors: drugs, sexual activities which would have caused trauma to the penis. At the same time, I think lots of men with smaller penises may have been in these situations, but they did not develop peyronie's as there would not have been the same stress on the penis. It is at least a contributing factor. I saw that study which was posted, but again I am skeptical with the findings. I know guys with smaller penises, I don't know three inches or something, and they are quite embarrassed about it. I can't imagine they would take part in a study like that.

I'm still new here, but it makes sense to me that guys with longer penises would be more likely to suffer an injury that leads to Peyronie's.

I haven't measured my penis, but it was definitely in the top 25% or so in length compared to peers.

In my case, I was lying on my back getting oral sex when my partner bent the head of my penis backward and continued to pleasure me that way for a minute or two. It looked wrong to me, and the part of my penis that was bent backward seemed a whitish color, but I didn't feel any pain and I'd never heard of Peyronies Disease or that you can injure your penis, so I just let it go.

Because I'm 53, my erections are not nearly as rigid as they were in my youth. If I were younger, it wouldn't have been possible to bend the head of my penis back that way. This seems to be a reason Peyronies Disease is more common in the 50 and over crowd.

A longer penis with a softer erection seems vulnerable to Peyronies Disease. I also think a longer penis that lacks girth would be more vulnerable (I lack girth, for sure).

It also makes sense that a longer penis is harder to keep oxygenated with a good blood supply, increasing the likelihood that a distal penile injury will lead to the development of scar tissue.

I have poor circulation to my extremities (Raynaud's) and likely poor circulation to my penis. When there's an injury, it's hard to get adequate blood supply there to help the healing.

I'm still interested to understand if hourglassing might be related to specific traumatic incidents and injuries like the one I had. It might make sense to have a thread where people share stories of injuries during sex that led to Peyronies Disease. I'd love to find a few other guys that may have had trauma similar to mine so that I can better map out the right course of treatment. Treatment could possibly be tailored to type of trauma.

Lots of rambling...appreciate this Forum

Plaque can build up anywhere in the body over time. Just happens to hit the critical stage for many in their 50s. Most likely nothing to do with bending a softer penis during oral sex or vaginal sex. Bending is not trauma. You're just old like me Craig and got plaque buildup in your penis . IMO I hit the cervix a lot in my  teens and 20s . No Peyrones until my 50s. This is no widespread disease. Guys bend and hit cervices all the time. No Peyrones ever. Just no rhyme or reason to this disease

This is inaccurate bubbadawg, having intercourse with a penis less than 80% erect is dangerous and can result in microtrauma and peyronies.  Never risk that guys.
