Title: VED injury firm flaccid?
Post by: shuffle on April 20, 2013, 03:52:26 AM
I was using a medical-grade penis pump one day nearly one year ago (with auto pressure regulation), the model being recommended on this forum, in order to try and correct a slight penis curve. I did not have an official Peyronie's diagnosis, nor did I feel any plaque. This was like my 3rd time using the pump in a period of 3 separate days. I would pump 3 times and then wait 10 seconds. I was extremely careful using it. At this particular moment waiting the 10 seconds, I felt slight pain and saw veins come to the surface starting from the base of the shaft. So, I quickly hit the release valve and abstained for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I noticed the veins were still there (dark blue and red but flat) and when I felt my flaccid penis it was firm. So now it has been almost a year and I still have the hard flaccid problem. The veins look like spider veins, and pushing on the shaft I can feel firm cord like tubes. I do not know whether this is the "hard flaccid" pelvic floor problem or some kind of nerve damage? I have abstained for nearly a month and have been doing pelvic floor exercises day and night, however I have found little improvement. The curve has worsened slightly but I don't know whether that is just due to lack of circulation. I am reluctant to visit a urologist because from what I have seen on forums and such, firm flaccidness stumps urologists. I'm almost at my wit's end, can anyone help me?

Thanks

Yeah, shuffle, job one is to go see a urologist who deals with Peyronie's. Waiting is not gonna do anything good for you.

Some of the other guys will also post here so please follow their advice as well. God bless.

Is your penis always firm when flaccid? I did some pelvic floor stretches and it helped a bit. After them he becomes instantly soft. After a time he's hard again. I still have the hard flaccid problem, but now I'm sure it has something to do with my pelvic floor. What exercises are you practicing?

You should see a Peyronies expert as soon as you can.
Try to find one close to you at:

By the way, experienced people always advising the use of VED with manual pump, not the electrical one.

No. It's better when lying down and urinating, and immediately after stretching like yours. Do you have spider veins as well? I am doing some exercises from a book called Heal Pelvic Pain.

I'm just concerned whether it's worth the hassle beacuse it is a HUGE hassle on many fronts. And it is a manual pump, its the Augusta Vitality.

I understand you sentence:
Quoteconcerned whether it's worth the hassle because it is a HUGE hassle on many fronts
as I am there almost every day. Everything is a matter of priority.
Still I was finding time to see a specialist, at least you know what you have and maybe a way to treat it. Myself begone treating my Peyronies 3 years after started and the results are disastrous.
