Title: What to expect in the future?
Post by: limitless2222 on July 16, 2019, 05:08:57 AM
Hi all,
my uro said my aim will be to prevent fibrosis and an increase of the plaque/scar tissue. He said my aim will be to stop the progression and after two years I will live as always simply with my indentation plus slight curvature and loss of girth/length which are not reversible. I would be fine with that. But how much of this is true? Currently I'm taking 5mg cialis, carnitin and doing VED.

So my question is what do I have to expect once I get out of the acute phase? Will the chronic phase cause any further problems? Will my indentation increase?

Will this disease be a topic in my life in five years?

My scar tissue/plaque is already palpable and hard. Also I have mild pain when errect but I think I could live with that when it doesn't increase.

I don't want surgery at all cost. Also there is no xiaflex or Verapamil in germany.

Thanks to everyone

Be sure to check out the survival guide: Peyronies Survival Guide - Information for New Members - Peyronies Society Forums (https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057)
Ideally, treatment will halt the progress and reverse it to some degree.
