Title: Questions on how to correctly do the VED protocol
Post by: Zeckelbaum on March 09, 2019, 06:42:48 AM
Hi all

I got my ved today and started trying to do old mans protocol but have a few questions. As follows:

1. There are ten sets in old mans protocol. Do you take your penis out of the cylinder between sets? Or do you simply press the black button to release the pressure then wait and then pump again? (I note each set you do 20-30-50% elections). I was taking my penis out but then I couldn't get it back in again so had to wait 5-10 mins. It wasn't erect it was just "full" so wouldn't fit back in the small cylinder.

2. How many pumps is 20,30 and 50% of an erection? I'm unsure if I'm under pumping or not. For 20% I did just two pumps (ie pushing in the lever twice). For a 50% erection I did no more than 9 pumps but the small cylinder stops the penis inflating but I get that's the point of it. Like the pump draws the penis up the cylinder but it's not really a full erection I don't think, just a semi. It would be good to get an idea of how many times you guys pump it to get an erection. I know everyone is different and all I'm just not sure if I'm under pumping or over or what. When I did 9 pumps I got a reasonable errction I think but it's hard to tell when I can't feel the hardness and can only look st it in the cylinder

Sounds like you're doing well, don't take your dick out between pumps.  Some guys mark cylinder at no erection, full erection,  then add marks between approximating 50%, etc
