Penis cold after VED despite being warm before

I recently started VED and after every session my penis seems to be cold. I always warm up for about 15 minutes before hand with an infrared light but everytime when I finish it is cold.

Since VED brings fresh blood to the penis this somewhat surprised me. Is it normal?

I also do traction and after that my penis is rarely cold, only occasionally. But that makes more sense to me as the circulation of the glands is cut off.

Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? Thanks in advance!

Hello!
I have the same thing happen to me Unless there is something I am unaware of it seems normal.
Fresh blood may be brought to the penis but at the same time pressure inside the VED drops to suck in blood, and there is a link between pressure and temperature.
If you've been taught about a formula looking like this in physics: PV=nRT ,this is the one linking temperature and pressure. (plus the volume, ammount of gas and a constant)

I believe that any temperature drop would be due to lack of circulation in that the blood is trapped in the penile tissue.  Old Man may be better to say if it is "normal" or not.  I have not noticed a significant drop in penile temperature after a VED session myself, but it may be that it is just not enough for me to have noticed.  I'll see after the next session if it seems colder.

OK, there is some drop in temperature of the penis after the VED therapy session, but should not be very cold. The drop in temperature is only temporay and is caused by the blood being held in the tunica for a period of time without returning to a regular cycle by the heart, etc.

Most VEDs come with an instruction paper and it states that coldness of the penis after use is only temporary and caused by the reason stated above.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts, Old Man.  A VED session should not last long enough to make it significantly "cold" then.

DizzyDenim

Thanks Old Man been helpful as always! Yes it's only temporary and although cold I wouldn't say "very cold." Glad to here it's normal side effect, reassuring!

The fact that ones Dick gets cool/cold after a VED session is as stated. This is the main reason that I disagree with the different protocols that are being told to hold the pressure for prolonged periods of time. This causes the blood to cool down from body temperature and the body/heart has to compensate for that drop of temp and recover.

I know that there are many opinions about this, but my experience over the past 60 odd years tells me different.

So again, I firmly believe that shorter holding times and more cycles in a 15 minute time frame is a much better approach to Peyronies Disease therapy for an already injured Dick. More

Kuehhas told me that holding the erection for too long can cause damage. Not only to the blood vessels, but can bring about ischemia of the blood held in the penis. Insufficient oxygenation is not going to help at all.

kuaka

Exactly.  As tempting as it may be to hold the artificial erection caused by a VED session for a while, the purpose is to exercise the tunica (not like a muscle exercise, but to expand the erectile tissue against the tunica to help relieve the bunching caused by the plaque).  Expand, hold for a second or two, relax, repeat, 10 minutes to 20 minutes per session tops.
