Title: ORAL high dose Hyaluronic Acid - A Study and Experience
Post by: madscientist on January 12, 2022, 07:59:12 AM
Hi gents,

I hope you are all staying blessed.

Injections suck, and I'm all for Old man's view on these. It's hard to know whether you're truly out of the active phase to get em and if you do, also hard to predict whether the injections themselves (even if it's a 30 gauge needle) won't cause any damage. I know hyaluronic acid (HA) is discussed a lot here (particularly injectables) but I'd like to give my two cents and experience with high dose Oral HA.

After a month of using 600-700mg daily, I have found that the elasticity of my skin, penis and potentially plaques (I'm avoiding palpating them atm so I don't know), to have improved. This is in the realm of what PABA did for me, sans the terrible side effects.
HA allows soft tissues to carry more hydration, so I'd imagine if would help plump up the plaques and may help oxygenate and exchange waste products in what are normally stiff rigid plaques.

A relatively well designed study compared the efficacy of intra lésional and oral, vs intralesional HA and found the former to be more efficacious.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33151042/

Buy HA, it's dirt cheap if you're buying it in powder form (about a dollar a gram). Unlike other supplements (like the Biocell collagen chondroitin thing that was posted recently - chondroitan sulfate is pro-fibrotic 😌) it's largely innocuous but may cause dyspepsia/ heartburn, if you're loading 3 g at a time on an empty stomach. Like I said, 600mgs a day is plenty.

Blessings
Madsci

Hello madscientist
Thank you for telling your experience.
I would appreciate it if you could keep telling me if your curvature continues to improve.
We are very interested.
Thanks again.

Well designed?
"Each oral dose contained a combination of 150 mg high molecular weight HA and 125 mg of avocado and soya unsaponifiables extracts"
So how can they conclude anything about oral HA, when avocado and soya unsaponifiables were included? They don't even say why they were included.  They don't say why a high molecular weight HA was selected.

3. Composition and characterization of the drugs used
1) Oral formula of hyaluronic acid
Each oral dose contained a combination of 150 mg high molecular weight HA and 125 mg of avocado and soya unsaponifiables extracts. All patients were treated in line with the manufacturer's instructions (Anatek Health Italia s.r.l., Milan, Italy).

2) Injectable formula of hyaluronic acid
Each injection contained HA (0.8% highly purified sodium salt HA 16 mg/2 mL; Sinovial, IBSA, Lodi, Italy).

What brand do you use?

https://nootropicsdepot.com/injuv-natural-hyaluronic-acid-supplement/

I found this but it only offers 9mg of HA. Hard to find a brand that offers 600 mgs.
