Title: 3 months of RestoreX - do I continue?
Post by: Straighten up flyright on October 17, 2021, 08:05:10 PM
Hi All

Looking for some advice from anyone who has had some success with RestoreX. I have about a 45 degree upward curve, diagnosed in Feb after first symptoms in Jan. I tried a few months of VED before starting restoreX

I have been using restoreX as advised for a little over 3 months. I have been diligent with 2 x 30mins per day and can achieve full 120 degree curve traction.

However, I have had little progress. I often now have nightime wood, and I think better erections than I did before (I use viagra so difficult to say for sure) however I have seen no improvement in curvature. I am a little scared to stop in case it has been stopping it getting any worse! The study on the restoreX site suggests that gains were made within the 3 month period, and I am wondering if I am wasting my time if I havent seem any improvements to this point?

Has anyone had improvements from restoreX after longer period of use following nothing in the first 3?

thanks

Yes, for some people like me I dint see much improvement until beginning of month 5, so I will tell you to continue diligently and make sure you are applying maximum tension. This means that once you unlock it it to pull your penis, only very little part of the black rods should be visible, much much less than the what they say that any tension is good as long as the white lines don't show. That's not true in my opinion, to see improvement with RestoreX, the black portion should just be showing. I started seeing improvements after this only.

Hi,

Yes same thing for me, I think I started seeing results between 3-6 months. I too started with a curvature of around 50-60 degrees and got it down considerably. I have now used Restorex for around 13 months, 2x30 min per day with a session of VED after each of those.

I would soldier on, but it might also be worthwhile testing different settings as well. I have tried both settings for how far the clamp-part can be extended (moving the two screws that you need to fasten it with) from the rest of the Restorex. This allowed me to stretch different parts of the upper side of my penis. As my plaque is quite long that may have made some difference for me, or maybe not, I'm not sure. Might be worth a try though, if applicable to you.

Best of luck!

Straighten Up:

I would be interested in hearing your results from extending your RestoreX traction therapy beyond twelve weeks. I am somewhat in the same situation, as I am just now hitting twelve weeks and have not seen much, if any, change. This is even with going with "burying the white lines", instead of just barely hiding them, for the last several weeks. This has been a pretty draining experience, and I also really need to give my glans a chance to recover from the trauma for a bit. So I am going to take a break and go into the suggested once-a-week maintenance mode for awhile; I have a urologist appointment next month and will then re-assess. So it's good to hear from others about extended treatment results.

Good luck.

I'm about five weeks into using RestoreX. I've gained .5 inches of length and a significant loss of pain when fully erect. I have not measured the curvature since my urologist; however, it seems slightly less of a curvature.
I stick with the daily two 30 minute RestoreX sessions.

Keep going. I didn't see results in the curve much at 3 months. Well after 6 months for me. Now at 10 months I'm very happy but still going to do it twice daily.

It takes time. But I think it's a great device.

I've been using restorex for just over a year and a half. It's only been in the last two months that I've gone from twice a day to once a day. I saw improvements even at a year. I believe it also helped that I changed the settings on the device to have the hinge portion / fulcrum at a point slightly further back. This was like a new device in this way.

So happy to see your success! Are you also doing the curved traction ? I find this part the most difficult

yes. 15 minutes of straight stretch and 15 minutes of working on the curve. gained another .5 inches in length, which puts me at gaining one inch in length.
I believe that my length is greater than before the Peyronies - WTF:)

That's amazing - that's your compensation fr those years or months of suffering - a longer penis! I'm hoping for the sam once I start restoreX!
