Title: This is what helped my peyronies, 5 years later
Post by: Flyknight on October 12, 2021, 07:08:47 AM
I was diagnosed with peyronies in 2016 at the age of 60.

My penis had a mild upwards curve, which did not worry me too much as this might be seen as normal for some men. What was worrying me, was the rather large 'bulge' on the right side of my penis whenever I had an erection.

This started me on a journey that can only be described as very stressful. It affected me psychologically, everything I tried, failed to give positive results and my peyronies seemed to get worse.

The fact that I had a very understanding and supported wife helped me a lot.

Below is my journey with peyronies,

This is what I tried in an effort to get relief from this terrible condition:
1.   Vit E, oil and tablets
2.   Acupuncture (I had about 4 sessions)
3.   Saw 2 different Urologists. (more about that below)
4.   Castor oil and castor oil packs (overnight)
5.   Cut down on alcohol
6.   Cut down on masturbation
7.   Lowered my cholesterol
8.   Supplements to cut down inflammation in my arteries (CholestrolEase, Niacin)
9.   Prayer

After 5 years of the above, I felt like nothing was working and that I was doomed to live with this terrible condition forever.

During my annual check-up with my Urologist in Oct 2020, he suggested that I try some gentle stretches of the penis  4-6 times a day. This I did and combined the stretching exercises, with massaging Arnica oil into the shaft of the penis twice a day.

About a month ago, I started noticing a decrease in the bulge on the side of my penis (when erect), but thought I was imagining things. I kept on praying, stretching and using the Arnica oil.

I saw my Urologist today (Oct 2021) and the sonar clearly shows a more than 60% decrease in plaque!! He suggested that the gentle stretching exercises and Arnica oil helped to improve my condition.

If you want to, try the stretching (careful l!!) and Arnica oil routine.

Remember: whatever worked for me or someone else, might not work for you, try something else, but don't give up!

Ask for wisdom (Proverbs 2:6).

I sincerely hope this will help some of you reading this.

I'm glad to see your amazing improvements. You mentioned to strech 4-6 times a day, for how long each time?.

I count to 60 every time I stretch, so about 60 seconds

That is great results! Could you tell us what brand of Arnica oil you used?  Also describe what a "castor oil pack" is?

I use Vitaforce brand of Arnica oil

You can Google castor oil packs, but basically it is putting some castor oil on a piece of material, wrapping it around the penis and leaving it on overnight

Hey, I have actually got a very similar characteristics to you. A mild upwards curve but my penis bends to the left. The curve varies, as sometimes it can be relatively straight but then often it bends quite sharply to the left, and is especially pronounced when I'm not fully erect. I also have a bulge on the right side of my shaft. Sorry for describing my penis in such detail haha, but I will definitely try your method.
I just wanted to ask, did you focus on stretching in any specific direction?

Hey!!

That is AWESOME.

Can you tell us more about the acupuncture.  Is it acupuncture directly  on the penis itself or just regular?  Did you tell the acupuncturist that you wanted to specially target your peyronies?

I swear by manual stretching i think its been able to keep my curve at bay.  Im at 10 degrees now, with a slight twist to the left.

but let me know i'd be interested to learn about how you approached acupuncture

Hey man, do you target a specific side when your manual stretching? Also, probably a dumb question, but I assume you stretch when fully flaccid?
