Title: New Bump
Post by: batboy on May 15, 2018, 06:37:52 PM
I had four cycles of injections of Xiaflex in 2014 which successfully removed most of my upward bend of 45 degrees and was happy with the results. But maybe six months ago i discovered another lump at the base of my penis on the top. No cause for alarm but  today I noticed an indention on the left side when fully erect. I am wondering if any have  had similar symptoms. Also, wondering your thoughts on more injections..

Bat,

I went through 8 cycles. You'll be fine. As for Xiaflex, the literature on Dupuytren's Contracture and Xiaflex, according to my URO shows return of the contracture after a period of time in many people. The word is still out on Peyronies and whether or not curvature will return.

I understand once one has peyronies they are prone to recurrences. May want to get started on pentox and low dose cialis to stop any progression and consult re xiaflex.

Did your uro talk to you about post xiaflex penile health or possibilities? Reach out and get their opinion. Traction at the first sign of deformities or any new curves might be your best bet.
