Surgery for Peyronie's Disease / Re: Xiaflex vs surgery

Have you read the success stories here about Xiaflex?  Also about Dr Trost's success rate and his protocol for administering the drug? Also please follow forum rules and fill out your signature line.. We know nothing about you.

I have the belt system and have tried it but for the reason you mentioned I do not use it. I have no idea just how much tension is being provided. With the rod system you can definitely see where the traction sits with the numbers at the bottom of the unit. Look at the diagram...

If the problem with the manual streching is that it can be either not enough or too lot of stretch, at the PMP belt system the similar happens because at such case dynamical streching is ongoing where we cannot set the force very precisely. What is your comment about this?

Coping with the pain caused by Peyronies / Help!!!
Last post by Mikerey - October 01, 2024, 10:39:22 PM
So what I'm dealing with is Ed and lacerations in the tunica albuginea. I've been suffering for 19 years plus. Imo faith moves mountains, can I ask for a prayer request if possible?

It started at 22 years old. I damaged myself from jelquing (penis enlargement exercise) plus death grip syndrome masturbation for excessively long time.

My symptoms right now are numbness in the front of my right thigh. Sometimes I have to "shift" or reposition my penis to alleviate the compression from the swelling. As I took a look in the mirror I could literally see a scratch/ scar right through my glans visibly. I am fearing a little bit.

I feel like I don't have what it takes to live with this disability much longer, which probably means I can still tough it out. For 19 years I've been afraid of lifting weights because the strain goes right to the penis. I've been afraid to sit, as the weight of the body sits on the penis.

Yes I am on disability. Only 2 urologists gave me a time frame: dr b. Said he didn't think I did permanent damage to my penis. Dr m. He said it should take 3 months to heal. Well, it's taking longer... I get pain in the penis. My life has been deeply impacted by this because of the phobias of staying injured and the psychological trauma which it caused in me.

I may as well state my goals: I want to nip this in the bud and shovel snow this winter. I cannot imagine another winter like this. So tons of abstinence. I will try going to the Centennial gym with an old buddy and ignore the weights, just stick to walking.

It's funny, my buddy was my proctor about 5 or 6 years ago as I was going through some mental problems with the penis on the mind mostly stands out. Nowadays he has retired. I can't work so I may as well go back to the gym with him. What can I say? Forging a routine is hard. My heart is hurting over this but I brought it on myself.

Only got laid once since the accident. She gave me an oral sex out of mercy, as I had severe Ed. I have worked with 7, 8 urologists but other than the diagnosis, there hasn't been much help.

What I've tried: pelvic floor therapy, SA sex anonymous, allowing me a venue to vent about my injured penis. And yeah, the pf therapy didn't do it.

I used to think if I won the lottery I would open the world's first center for penile fractures but that's just a dream. At this point what's important is for myself to get the victory!

History: when I was 12 I was smashed in the genitals to the point where it left me with stunted growth down there. Plus a lifetime of issues and problems since then. Penile health is very delicate. I wish I was shielded from all of this but it's more like jump Street, all from day one. Please keep trying to keep trying on with penile health concerns, and Ty for reading this. May you have a good day and respond if you feel you may!

Injections for Erectile Dysfunction / Re: Trimix caused me Peroynes
Last post by Mikel7 - October 01, 2024, 03:29:23 PM
I had a very small discoloration not really a bruise. It looked like an ingrown hair follicle. Things went fine. I believe peyronies from trimix injections is from continued poking over and over etc....

So I'm currently at a 35 degree angle (dorsal), and my erection angle has undoubtedly grown stiffer, making my penis less movable.

I really just need a 5-10 degree correction/decrease for my sex life and overall confidence to improve significantly.

I want to do as little manipulation of the penis as possible, as I frequently seem to re-injure myself.

I'm currently doing heat therapy occasionally, coupled with Q10, bi-daily low-dose Cialis and a few other supplements.

Could doing heat therapy everyday perhaps improve a Peyronie's situation?

Manual traction hasn't worked for me yet, but to be fair, I haven't been super consistent.

Would love some words of encouragement or tips from you guys.

I feel really lost at times, and I genuinely wish to improve this condition, but would preferably want to do it without pulling my penis in a machine for 6 hours a day.

Thoughts?

Did you have an ultrasound at a later date? And if so did it show up the second time?

I've been examined twice.

Both doctors felt a lump but the ultrasound came back clear.

I was told afterwards that I do not have peyronies.

This was frustrating.

Quote from: BentKnob on September 21, 2024, 06:00:31 PMI don't understand this either.

At the time of me writing those posts it wasn't palpable, but it has become palpable since. I think it can take time for it to become palpable. For me it took around 10 months or so from the onset of any symptoms

It also helps if you wash with soap before wearing, as oil on the skin may increase slipping
