Howdy All,
I experienced reduced sensitivity during sexual activity since getting Peyronie's in 2009. Although I took Pentox and have had marked physical improvement, my orgasms have felt a little numb, and somewhat less "penis-based" and more "prostate-based," if that makes any sense.
I started taking a medication called Buspirone to treat anxiety several weeks ago and noticed that sensitivity and "feeling" have returned. It turns out, Buspirone is an anti-anxiety drug that they give to people who have had sexual side effects on other anxiety drugs. Obviously, I don't know if the improved sensitivity is due to reduced anxiety, a placebo effect, or the actual pharmacology of the drug, but it may be helpful for men on the forum taking medication for anxiety and depression. The medication does have some side effects, but they are more mild than pentox. This might be worth looking into for men who have this problem.

Thanks for the info Skjald, it is very encouraging.
You must have a prescription for it? I don't have anxiety, but reduced sensitivity I have, also much less pleasurable orgasms.
James
Yes, it is by prescription only. It is used predominantly for anxiety, but it is also used alongside certain anti-depressants that cause erectile dysfunction/sexual side effects because it can mitigate those symptoms. I know a lot of men on the forum are taking meds for depression and anxiety. If the SSRI meds are causing ED or libido problems, they might want to try Buspirone. It does cause some dizziness though, which I experience for an hour or so after taking it.

Thanks Skjald.
I am flying to Europe next month to see a good urologist for my urinating problems, I will see if he have something to say for Peyronies also. Will ask him about Buspirone also.
