Title: Possibly ridiculous question: Can the damage be seen on lower abdomen MRI
Post by: Nocekgari on January 07, 2020, 03:32:48 PM
Hello all, I am sorry for starting too many topics. I wasn't very active for some time but since my peyronies concerns are back, here I am.

On Thursday I have an MRI schedueled for anal fistula. Actually there will be three sessions. One for lower abdomen, one dynamic MRI (I don't know what this is) and one for lower abdomen pelvic area, that's what it says in documentation. This may sound childish but, I was wondering if any of these three would somehow reveal the damage I did by fracturing my penis? Would the scar tissue be visible? My fistula is very close to my penis. And since MRI is some type of scaning of a certain area, could it show any plaque development etc? I haven't got the chance to get MRI for my fracture or peyronies. What do you think?

I think it's fair to say that - if you tell the guy who's giving you the MRI about your Peyronie's, he can simply "check" your penis in the same scan, I believe.
Shouldn't be an issue imo

I suspect the doctor would have to order it or that area even if scanned would not be analyzed by the radiologist.
