Title: Shockwave Therapy in Tijuana - Dr Allejandro Lira - Pacific Sexual health
Post by: Sil3nt on August 15, 2017, 09:01:42 PM
Haven't checked in on these forums in a while but I just wanted to let you guys know about the shockwave treatment. I wanted to be in Dr Goldsteins (SDSM's) clinical trial but I could not comply with the medications. Instead I manned up and went into TJ. I have gotten 9 shockwave treatments so far. They use LSWT and ESWT (linear and focalized) and it has been gradually improving my peyronies. I had mild peyroneis mostly at the base. I have venous leakage, corporal fibrosis, and really just fibrosis everywhere, tunica and cavernosa.

This treatment is working better than everything else even though it's designed for ED and not really peyronies, but I am making those gains! My penis is getting way thicker again as the fibrosis is being chizzled away. The FDA f'~c<+d me with Propecia and now Mexico is picking up the pieces of my penis and putting them back together. Viva la Revelucion mis amigos!

Look up Dr Allejandro Lira Urologist - Pacific Sexual Health - Hospital Angeles. Just thought I owed it to you guys to spread this word. I wish you all the best. I never thought a few clicks/taps to my penis could get my old penis back. It's easy to forget how life used to be, it's funny..

Excellent! Very happy for you!

How much do the shockwaves cost in Mexico? I paid $500 for mine (6 sessions), but got a huge discount because I'm a doc myself. The doc usually charges more.

No.

It was for my venous leak. Yes - I got some improvements out of it. I would like to do it again in a year or so.

Just to be clear, there seems to be no evidence of shockwave curing peyronies but perhaps some occasional improvement w some individuals for ED.

There's lots of evidence for shockwave improving erectile function https://www.trtllc.com/urology.html I wish the original poster would reply about his visit to see the Dr. in Tijuana

Do you see the op above he said it's gradually improving his peyronies... you are stating exact opposite of his firsthand experience

Christopher1 statement is based on the fact that on our forum very few, if any, benefited from shock wave therapy.
If shock wave therapy was so successful it was a main stream therapy by now.

But I must state that shock wave therapy is very beneficiary for the provider :)

James is right.

There is some weak evidence that shockwave therapy can help for ED. Probably better if you get a Jeanie Rub variable speed massager to do this every other day. I have a thread on it. This will also cost much less.

Without a doubt, however, shockwaves will NOT work for Peyronies Disease. Any physician telling you this is probably full of crap. If they are selling you on this, ask for studies showing results.

That Jeanie Rub machine is huge and looks like it could rip apart damaged and weak tissue and make things worse.  It looks like taking an electric sandpaper tool to your weenie...

I am told that Dr. Lira uses 2 different machines the Renova and the Zimmer.  Which one did you use?  Also how many treatments before you started seeing results like penis getting thicker and injuries healing?  Thanks

It is mainstream in Latin and European countries.

Clarification from Dr Karpman, he recommends mono therapy shockwave only for ED.  Now, if someone wishes to avoid plication or excision/grafting he has a triple medical therapy he is recommending:  Xiaflex + Restorex + shockwave.  Does not recommend shockwave alone for peyronies.

Care to comment on the OP of this threads experience with shockwave?  Do you believe he faked his results?

I couldn't say but the improvement he mentions is very general and not specific, also he seems to be recommending a certain doc (with very few posts)...
