Hey all,
I wondered if anyone wants to share any early warning signs they experienced before Peyronies really kicks in. I don't mean anything like curvature, which are obvious, but more subtle signs. Like maybe new skin creases? Or a period of discomfort after masturbation? I don't know if these are indicative of anything serious. I'd appreciate any input.
For me, it's an influx of heavy inflammation. If you don't have that, I think there's no point worrying.
Smashing, how did your inflammation feel and look?
If you have it, you will just know. It fills up with inflamation and becomes almost sticky/squishy. So much so that your penis may even feel bigger or fuller. It could last from 4 days to2 years for some people. If you are not sure you have it, I would assume that means you don't.
For me no Waring signs, went to bed as normal, about 3 am woken up with pain in my penis, yep i i had a big bend to left, where it came form no idea, 2 weeks of pain when erect, no pain when flaccid.

What do you mean by sticky? Like the skin feels sticky? Is the inflammation painful
Huh, that's interesting, you mention sticky. I notice the underside of my penis feels kinda sticky. Never really thought much of it. I can't reliably confirm if it's new or not.
This might sound stupid, but I'm noticing that my foreskin is sometimes covering more of the head of my penis (almost fully sometimes). I'm not circumcised, but still, this seems weird.
I'm tempted to start eating a bunch of anti-inflammatory foods just in case :o
Hi Blake, at least your curvature isn't Peyronie's since you've always had it. Penis pain can be do to many conditions, have you had the doctor check it out yet?
Nah, I haven't visited another yet. Reason is, I haven't really experienced any pain (at least like before) since early July, so I've just been carefully watching/keeping measurements to detect any changes. I got a referral for a new Uro, but I've been sitting on it. idk why...part of me is afraid, I guess. And that last visit wasn't really too productive....
Don't think you have much to lose asking about the pain, esp if it's been recurring. Best case it's something easily treated.
You're completely right Tony. Hopefully, I can get an appointment scheduled relatively soon. Last one took like two weeks : /
For me ... first warning sign was went to take a leak, pushing out the last drops and felt a lump deep inside the penis. Down next to the urethra. About the size of a pea. 2 1/2 years later it is full on peyronies.
Well, I saw another urologist. He was better than the last one. He did a physical exam and couldn't feel any plaque. Since I have been feeling little to no pain for the month of August, he told me it's not necessary to do any imaging yet, but if I start feeling that sharp stinging pain again, that'll be the next step. They also prescribed me some Cialis, but I don't know if I'll take those (also I'm not sure my insurance covers it and idk how expensive it is).
Cialis is dirt cheap now even private pay. I ask for 20mg and split it in quarters for 5mg nightly. 90 pills cost $50 and last one year if quartered. Just price on GoodRx.con got best prices in your area.
I started to wake up with lots of pain in my erected penis in January 2019. My erections, during the day, were painful too. But this lasted something like 20 days.
Then it faded away. But something like september 2019, a plaque appeared and my penis started to bend.
My urologist said that what happened in January 2019 was the kickstart of peyronie. So, if you start to feel pain in your penis, I think you should try to adjust your diet, use some anti inflammatory supplements (like curcumin) and use pentox.
Yeah, I'm going to try some anti-inflammatory stuff. Medication-wise, I need to be a little careful because I do have a congenital heart defect. I've had surgery twice to repair it, and my last cardiology visit told me everything was fine. Even the low dose Cialis prescribed to me by the Uro kinda made me nervous, but he didn't seem concerned.
probably should make a new thread for this but...
Does Cialis cause an erection without any stimulation? I've taken it over the last three nights and noticed strong (and several) erections during the night. My penis feels pretty sore today.

No. If you are awake, you still need stimulation to have an erection.
During the night it's common to have nocturnal erections without stimulus. As cialis aids erection, you'll get more nocturnal erections.
Very first sign.. even before pain was after an erection ended one side deflated ever so slightly faster than the other. Eventually that slow side would be my shortened Peyronie's side
