Title: L-arginine causes pain
Post by: zidious on July 07, 2021, 01:43:22 PM
Hi folks.

After I started with L-arginine I have a lot of pain all of a sudden. Been painfree for years. Has anyone experienced this? Not sure if blood vessels expand into scar tissue or something or maybe pushes on nerves. Is this normal? I am scared of more injury.

Thanks.

Hi zidious,

Can you please fill out your signature with your condition, age, sexual status, etc (can follow mine).

Can you explain the pain a bit more?  What made you decide to start taking L-arginine? Do you have peyronies? Are you feeling pain when you get erections? That can be alright, it can be the plaque/scar tissue having blood flow into the area and stretching.
Please explain a bit more!

Hi, thanks for your reply. Well, I've been on this forum for some years now. I guess it's Peyronies I have. I've got indentations and upwards curvature, loss of size. Must be peyronies? I've seen some posts where people wonder if they have peyronies or not and they have these symptoms but that confuses me. Are there other penisbending diseases that isn't peyronies?

I've recently started with keto after listening to Neo-V which seem to help. I'm not diabetic or overweight or anything, quite the opposite, but it does lower inflammation. I thought I'd start taking L-arginine as well just to add another thing that might help, (we all want as much help as possible) I thought it can't hurt and people seem to be positive about it. So now I got some pain. No huge stinging pain, just like some constant soreness. I was just curious if this is because scars are moving a bit or blood vessels dialating? I can't find anyone here saying L-arginine made things worse by itself, so I guess the pain is good?  All the best.

Hey zidious. Could it be because you had an improvement in your erections and now they are firmer and more frequent?

Yes it could be. I am careful with erections now since it hurts a bit so I can't say for sure.
