I have noticed that after peyronies onset, after ejaculating , it comes out a very short distance like 1 or 2 cm at most... earlier the ejaculate used to shoot a lot longer distance. This has happened first time after I took finasteride(stopped way long ago ) which weakened my ejaculated force. It has remained that way ever since. I am wondering if this is because of finasteride or due to scar tissue from peyronies causing a urethral stricture ? My urine flow seems to be normal from what I can tell. Anyone experienced this or has insight ?
I've heard similar side effects from others who have taken finasteride, but since you developed further downward curvature very soon after starting finasteride, it's really hard to tell.
Do you have any visible dents on your corpus spongiosum?
Have you stopped the Finasteride? A lot of men report bad sexual side effects from taking it. If you only took it one time I don't believe it was the cause of your problem.
Both urine stream and ejaculation were effected by my Peyronies Disease. Period. It was bad enough that I developed CPPS (Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome) from it and was extensively tested to find out the cause. I had a cystoscopy and PVV test. Both showed no stricture or inability to empty bladder. I have dent on the side of my urethra where a plaque is, and I guess it sinches down on the ability for the urethra to expand as well as it could have and is what leads to that degradation of flow.
So bustedchubb are you saying you got scar tissue in Corpus Spongosium ? Can peyronies do that, moreover does your glans become as big as before ?
I don't think the scar was is on the spongiousum, but next to it on the distal cavernosal body. I was able to get fully erect with my case, I never developed any lasting ED.
