Title: Cialis concerns
Post by: thegreycat on December 20, 2022, 12:02:16 PM
Hi

I've got a prescription for 5mg daily Cialis.

I am however concerned about ototoxicity, sudden hearing loss.

I'm struggling to find many decent sources of truth on this, just wondering if anyone could shed any light?

Thanks

I've used Tadalafil (generic Cialis) for years with no issue. But that isn't to say different people will experience different side effects.

I did have sudden hearing loss and now suffer severe tinnitus and hyperacusis from daily Cialis. If you go to the tinnitustalk forum there are a lot of us there who have also experienced this. Now I must say that this is a rare instance but unfortunately I was one of them and now suffer for it. Viagra has had documented cases that have been reported. My brain surgeon says it deals with the inner structures of the ear and how a precise blood flow is crucial to maintaining/keeping things alive ad healthy. You have to be the judge for yourself but I can tell you now that I am now disabled and had to quit my teaching job and life has taken a 180 degree turn around.

I took it for 2-3 months. And had tingling in the lips and foot. After 3 months I had visual disturbance for 2h. After that I stopped taking it
