Title: Any advice please
Post by: ThisIsNotYourDad on July 13, 2022, 12:32:06 PM
Recently almost a month ago I experienced curving when semi erect. I have a curve that points to the right, sometimes it's not visible and sometimes it's really visible. I also sometimes have curving when flaccid and it curves to left, which this usually fixes itself. I also have like a vein in my shaft, it looks more like a ring. I'm thinking this might be a lymphocele but still not sure.
The treatments that I've been doing so far are manual stretches, cialis 5 MG a day, heat treatment, and castor oil overnight. Would you guys recommend me to change anything or what things should I add?
I've gone to my urologist but he said he didn't feel any plaque but I've heard that sometimes you can't feel plaque or see plaque in a ultrasound. Please if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I also don't have any curvature when erect but I know it can lead to that

Hi ThisIsNotYourDad,

While I am not a urologist, in my view, if you don't have any deformity when erect, then a curve when flaccid or when semi-erect doesn't mean anything at all.  When a penis grows erect, the spongy tissue on both sides fills with blood, not necessarily at exactly the same time.  In a young man who is very excited, erection can take place in a second or two (we all remember that!).  But if the excitement is less, or if the man is older, or there is some psychological factor at play, erection can take more time and during that time you could flop a little to one side or the other.  This is not Peyronie's Disease.  Peyronie's Disease becomes apparent only when you have a full erection, and it's not straight any more (assuming it was in the first place -- many perfectly normal men have erections shaped like a banana).

You have not put your age or any other information into your profile so it's hard to make any other statements, but it sounds like maybe you're obsessing unnecessarily.  Your urologist can't feel any plaque -- but this makes sense, because if your erections are straight and normal, it doesn't sound like you have any plaque.  I'm not sure why you would think you do.  Also I don't understand why you think you have a lymphocele.  Have you had surgery recently?  Where did you get the idea that you have a lymphocele?  As for veins in the penis, everyone has them.  You can't make a penis without veins.

Just on this vein which you say looks like a ring:  if you have a ring-like indentation going around your penis, as if there was a string tied tightly around it, then it sounds like "hourglassing", which could be a problem in the making.  Here is a link to an anatomical text from Springer which shows hourglassing:

https://www.google.com/search?q=peyronie%27s+disease+hourglassing&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwju45r_7_z4AhURB94KHWkNCWMQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1920&bih=975&dpr=1#imgrc=_9s3d8R6whbPwM

But if your vein or ring isn't an indentation, then that's another reason to think it's not caused by Peyronie's.  Remember, Peyronie's Disease is caused by a hard plaque or blockage in the membrane around the spongy tissue which prevents the tissue from expanding fully during erection (imagine putting a piece of tape on a balloon and then blowing it up:  the part with the tape won't expand).

Honestly, without any further information from you, I would think that the heat and the castor oil aren't doing anything, the stretching is more likely to do damage than to help, and the Cialis is just that, a pill which will increase blood flow to the penis when you get an erection, so unless you have ED I wouldn't even take that.  I don't want to be rude, but why do you think you even have a problem?

Good luck,
PK

My age is 21.
I think I have a lymphocele because like I said the "vein" looks like a ring on the left side of the penis.
I would also like to point out that I was stupid and like 2 months ago I did something called "clamping" which I'm pretty sure caused this problem. I had already done pumping before and it gave me that "vein" looking thing but it wasn't that noticeable like it is now.
Not sure if this is temporary but it looks like the curvature got worst when flaccid. I still however don't have any curvature when fully erect.

I'm really hoping that this is a lymphocele problem and maybe get it drained and it'll get better. I've been doing manual stretches and maybe I should stop because it could be worsening my problem.

I've stopped clamping and pumping of course. I really regret what I did and now I'm depressed and anxious about my future with this problem. I haven't had any suicidal thoughts but I do think to myself when I see my curvature and seeing how it isn't getting any better that if I died by an accident that I would be grateful just so I don't have to deal with this anymore.
I have seen success stories so I'm still sorta positive about a possibility that this could get better.

I'm not an expert but I like the advice that PK gave you. The primary advice should always be to see a clinician, and it appears that you have.
"The treatments that I've been doing." - Treatments for what? See PK's post above.

Good point. I'm doing treatments for something that I don't even know I have so it isn't a good idea.

I'm going to a urologist quite soon actually and I'll be asking for a ultrasound appointment, I guess the ultrasound will help see what's causing this problem. I'm hoping it's a lymphocele that's causing my problem since it can just be drained but who knows.

"I've gone to my urologist but he said he didn't feel any plaque"
-So you quite possibly don't have any.

I recommend looking at Dr. Trost's posts on this forum. He is an expert. If I understand correctly, ultrasound imaging isn't necessarily better than an examination by a skilled clinician.

Just my opinion, but it possible that you don't have Peyronies Disease, and possible-to-probable that you do have anxiety. I have anxiety myself so I have some understanding! I think there's no shortage of it on this forum.

Yeah I have lots of anxiety about it. I recently traveled out of the country and was able to achieve a full erection and now when I tried achieving a erection I could barely get to like 70% of my full erection. Pretty sure peyronie's doesn't develop that quickly to the point its effecting blood flow in like 2 days. I'll be going to therapy for this and of course seeing my urologist still.

Thanks for recommending me to Dr. Trost's I'll be looking at his posts

I wonder what the link is between leaving the country and erection status.
Regardless, the effect of mindset on this function is massive.
Might be best to give it a rest and get some counselling. That's what I'm doing.

Yeah I'm going to get some counseling for sure.
