Title: Copper supplements for peyronie
Post by: peyroniesurprise on February 11, 2020, 03:04:26 AM
So i was reading about coper and zinc and it seems that zinc depletes copper and viceversa. I've taken a lot of zinc before and during my peyronie but at some point i stopped taking it for other reasons and i noticed i stopped having pain on ejaculation and my tight pelvic  floor relaxed sonehow.

I then read the zinc depleting copper and the role of copper in blood circulation. Apparently copper is quite essential for circulation.

I started supplementing with copper a few days ago and i got more surprises. Erection seems more "natural" , the pelvic floor feels more relaxed and i get some pleasant and warm tingles in it and most obvious bit is that my flaccid size is finally getting fuller. Has more length and girth. Before and during the first stages of peyronie my flaccid size was greatly reduced, the penis was retracted and small. The testicles were also retracted. Now the testicles are also hanging.

I think copper might play a role and interestingly enough  copper peptides are also used for circulation in hair loss.

When you have finished your current copper supplement why not switch to a high quality Cocoa/Cacoa powder, or 85-100% chocolate, not only you get copper but Zinc, Magnesium, Iron etcetera

see https://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/sweets/5471/2

I use 85-90% dark chocolate, about 30 grams and it also definitely lifts your mood (dopamine) nicely  :)

I am using GNC copper 2mg, 100% recommended daily intake. For no particular reason other than it was the first brand i managed to find because apparently copper ONLY supplements are not that common. They're usually mixed with zinc or something else.

The problem is that allegedly zinc depletes copper so i do not want to get something with zinc in it. Coincidence or not, i was taking massive zinc only supplements before and at the first stage of peyronie, plus i was eating boiled oats which is also very high in zinc. So i want to go the other way and max copper intake.

So far it is really looking spectacular, i haven't seen my penis flaccid but fully vascularised in a year and a half at least. My balls also dropped. That's a couple of days into copper supplementation.

I do eat extra dark chocolate, i know it's healthy.

Very interesting! See this is what i am talking about. I noticed copper was doing something even if i was not up to date with the research on it. This just confirms that i was not imagining things.

how is your penis in erection your hourglass is fuller also ,do you feel any pain?
or your gains are only in flaccid state
Title: Re: Copper supplements for peyronie
Post by: peyroniesurprise on February 14, 2020, 06:11:10 AM
I no longer have hourglass since i lost length. The penis has normal shape, just shorter.

I do not feel any pain now on erection/penetration. I used to feel a lot of pain even when getting erections because my pelvic floor would spasm involuntarily and would increase the pressure in my penis. I would feel the most pain on ejaculation because that's when the pelvic floor spasms the most.

Aside from the gains in flaccid size, i seem to be getting back overall girth on erection.

Looking back, i do think that zinc alone may have contributed to this and just stopping zinc probably helped but adding copper seems to be giving everything the extra ooph back to normality.

Interestingly enough, i also started feeling sensation and pleasure on penetration, which did not happen before. Before it was like my dick was numb. I knew it was there but had no proper sensation registering from it.

I went from 7.something to 6.4 inch in length. But i also noticed i was losing girth all around, not just in the plaque area, which to me confirmed it was more of a circulation problem that lead to peyronie in the first place.

What i also did and i think it helped immensely is that i stopped jerking off completely and now i hump a silicone sleeve (no plastic casing). The feeling is completely different and the pressure is much more even on the penis, as it should be. On top of that, i no longer binge masturbate and i have no more compulsion like i used to. In the past i'd stay erect for hours even, now it's something like 10 minutes and i'm done.

have you regained any length on copper also how many days for copper to see results
Title: Re: Copper supplements for peyronie
Post by: peyroniesurprise on February 14, 2020, 07:42:58 AM
too early to tell. I'm just 10 days in.

I noticed the increased (normalized) flaccid girth 4 days in. Testicles dropped around the same time. Around the same time I started getting some warm tingles in the pelvic area, it just feels more alive if that makes any sense.

I also noticed increased erect girth 5-6 days in. I didn't measure length but it feels a bit bigger.

Again, i am not saying this is the cure 100%, i think that me completely stopping jerking off and switching to silicone sleeve humping played a big role too.

It does help. For copper intake i use stored water in copper bottle first thing in the morning(7-8hrs storage). It has been very good for circulation. Helps for thyroid problems, better wound healing. Worth adding to treat peyronie's disease

whyisthishappening I started using this week itself and its going good in terms of circulation. Healing wise i have to limit fapping and practice no fap monk mode for 2 months. I feel increased penile circulation due to copper and with nofap will heal peyronie.  Also in ayurveda they say that due to imbalance of doshas peyronie disease occurs so copper water can balance doshas. It is good addition

peyroniesurprise:

Am I to understand you now take both Zinc AND Copper?   What does this do for your peyronie?

Does it increase the feeling/sensation when having intercourse?
Or does it reduce the curvature/bend?

What curvature do you have?  Mine is upward.

Thinking about doing this as well.  Thanks!

Hello, I can eat chocolate and call it healthy. Mmm chocolate. Now I know the reason chocolate is healthy.

(Please buy ethically sourced cocoa. The ivory coast use child labour).

a local shop has Organic Cacao Liquor Buttons. no sugar. I was looking for cacao that might still have the stearic acid (fat content.)

Another source of copper may be copper chlorophyll, a green colouring - Colemans garden mint sauce has this. (the only commercial version I like).
I was thinking it could go in a messy transdermal concoction.

I used take a lot of zinc before i got peyronie. I would assume that if copper really helps with this, zinc may have contributed to it since zinc is an antagonist of copper.

I started taking copper for a few weeks and for the first time in two years my penis returned to almost normal in flaccid state (hangs loose, more full and heavy). I had what i think would be described as hard flaccid - the penis was tense, short and sticking out like a knob. It was also cold (so a clue that it had low circulation).

I discontinued copper after a month or so and results persisted. I even had a followup with the urologist, i got an ultrasound which confirmed my plaque broke down in 2 and has much lower volume, which was great news.

My pelvic floor also relaxed and i no longer get uncontrollable contractions during erections. Unfortunately i still get painful contractions on ejaculation.

I can't say this was the copper only because i did many other things since my initial ultrasound (no more jerking off, better diet etc).

This is quite interesting, i was just about to revive this topic anyway because i noticed more things about copper.

My problems were back (though not to the same extent) - problems including lack of penile sensitivity, random and uncontrollable contractions of the penis, penis being in a somewhat hard flaccid state, ejaculation being painful etc. Again, nowhere near where i was initially, but still concerning.

I went back on copper a few days ago and things again improved dramatically, most notable being the fact that when i get an erection my nether region does not contract anymore, does not have muscle spasms and i regained sensitivity. Basically i can feel stuff with my penis, when erect and the penis stays erect effortlessly, with no need for voluntary or involuntary pc/bc muscle contractions. For the lack of a better word, my erection just "is".

Now for some more interesting connections that may exist. When i got off copper and my symptoms started coming back, my skin problems (flaking) also came back. I used to get severe flaking on scalp, beard and eyebrows and they were itching too. With copper, after 2 days, they simply vanished. Digestive and breathing issues too. Interestingly, my swallow reflex is also a lot smoother.

Now, what i suspect to be behind all this (peyronie/penis-skin-breathing-digestion-swallowing) is smooth muscle dysfunction and copper deficiency. Smooth muscle is involved exactly in those organs.

I found a study about this titled Copper deficiency alters vasodilation in the rat cremaster muscle microcirculation https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/1619479/ and it sort of confirmed what i felt when i was on copper the first time and this time. I can't exactly put it into words, but it just feels like everything runs "smoother" and i am less tense. I would assume chronic stress somehow consumes copper more or something, i really do not know.

There is also this study Unexpected Role of the Copper Transporter ATP7A in PDGF-Induced Vascular Smooth Muscle Cell Migration https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/CIRCRESAHA.110.225334

And this one Effects of copper and zinc on the production of homocysteine-induced extracellular matrix metalloproteinase-2 in cultured rat vascular smooth muscle cells https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.2143/AC.60.4.2004982

To my knowledge zinc is a copper antagonist and i also used to take a lot of zinc supplements before i got my peyronie (and my skin flaking and other problems).

I use copper chelated 2mg gnc but again i have to stress that i did not take them for too long and i took them on and off. There are 100 tablets in this one and there are still over 10 left (i have it since february). I would say i noticed an effect as soon as the 3rd day when starting. I stopped because i noticed a chance in breathing and i was not sure if it's related or it's good or bad.

I am 95% certain the bigger picture of peyronie is something connected to smooth muscles malfunction and it appears copper targets those.

Really interesed in other's opinion on this.

I just got off a 2-week stint with copper. Took a supplement of 2mg/day. Aside from this I am doing VED + traction since two months along with a diet generally geared towards antioxidants.

This is purely anecdotal but I do not feel as though anything changed when I incorporated copper as a component of the treatment, nor do I feel any change once I stopped taking it either. It could be that it is just me, or how I react to it, or that one needs to continue taking it for longer in order to feel any effects.

That said, I will stop taking copper as a supplement for now.

This is really interesting. Thank you for sharing. I'm gonna get myself some copper. I actually bought a copper magnet anklet the other day to see what would happen. Thinking about shortening the length and putting it around my Johnson when I'm sleeping; occult not too tight to allow for erection at night.
