Title: Downward curve after prostatectomy
Post by: jeff65 on May 01, 2018, 11:46:04 AM
Hi All,

I'm new to the forum, so will introduce myself first. I'm 53 years old and was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August, 2017. I had a robotic assisted radical prostatectomy with bilateral nerve sparing on October 30, so I am currently 6 months post-op. About a month after my surgery, my urologist started me on 40 mg of sildenafil daily and I'm still taking that. A little over 2 months after surgery, I started trimix injections to obtain an erection approximately 1-2 times per week. I've had very good success with trimix and currently cannot achieve a usable erection without it.

About 6 weeks ago, I suddenly noticed a downward curve in my erection that had never been there before. I was concerned that the trimix was causing it, so I contacted my doctor. He wasn't really concerned and said as long as I could penetrate not to worry about it. Well, that's easy for him to say, right? I also feel that I have lost some length, but that could be my perception because of the curve. This has really been bothering me and I'm concerned that it may be the onset of Peyronie's, so I'm hoping to get ahead of it if I can.

So far, I have not tried a VED but am very close to purchasing the Osbon Esteem Manual recommended by my doctor. My hope is that by using it on a daily basis, I may be able to reduce the curve and regain some of my lost length.

So, I have a few questions for the forum. Do I have any hope that a VED will help with my issue? How often should I use it, once a day, twice a day? What are the thoughts on the VED I'm considering? I've seen it mentioned in a few posts in the forum, and it seems to get positive reviews.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Jeff

Jeff

Injections to the penis may cause Peyronies. But as you can't achieve an erection without trimix, you don't have other choice.
Except penile implant, as last resource.
VED may help you to correct the curve and not to get the curve worst.

To your questions:
QuoteDo I have any hope that a VED will help with my issue?
Yes. VED helped/helping me and many other members
Use VED twice a day for 15 minutes each session if you can. If not, one session of 30 minutes.
You may find protocols on VED therapy here:

I am also proposing you to write a PM to Old Man. He is our expert in the subject and I am sure he will be happy to help

Injections triggered my Peyronies Disease.  The specialist said if I had put pressure on the injection site immediately afterward for at least 7 minutes it would not have occurred (internal bleeding).

Thanks for the replies. I've PM'ed old man for additional advice and will review the protocol page. My doc just submitted the prescription for the Osbon Esteem Manual so hopefully I'll have in a couple weeks.

Don't you inject trimix in the side of the penis. That wouldn't cause a downward curve.

Usually one alternates between sides, so depending on the distribution of the plaque growth, the curve could go in any direction.
