I'm very new here and I've been reviewing all the topics in the forum but can't seem to find answers to my problem (or even other people suffering from the same type of disease).
I have been diagnosed with Peyronies but my problem is not with the curvature, but with an actual thightening at the base of the shaft. A "strangled" base of shaft when in erection. Barely a curvature, and experiencing a lot of pain and discomfort.
Anybody else having the same type of Peyronies?
Even googling for pictures doesn't show me anything.
My urologist prescribed me anti-inflammatories that I haven't started yet (I'm scared of the side effects on my bowel since I also have IBS). Did any one used anti-inflammatories to help with the disease? How did it help? Was it in combination with a pulling /traction device?
So my urologist also told me to purchase a pulling/traction device but without giving me an actual name of a brand. The more and more I read on it the more I'm confused, especially for my type of disease. I've spent hours on reseaching and still I'm not more advanced.

Search here for hourglass. Penimaster Pro comes highly recommended. Also, VED may help for hourglassing. Did he start you on Pentox and low dose Cialis-both sometimes helpful esp in combo with traction and VED.
Possibly consider seeing a different specialist. I only say this because this because peace of mind and understanding things/options goes a long ways. Specialist #3 prescribed pentox and something for the pain and inflammation. Neither the pentox or the other script was explained to me. I was simply told these are the two best and most commonly prescribed scripts for peyronies. Ask your pharmacist about the med. I would guess they will tell you to take it with food to avoid upset stomach/digestive system. Proper diagnosis is important just as time is. Try and find a specialist that will run a blood panel as well as preform a penile ultrasound. Best of luck to you.
