Title: Considering to start traction (slight dents/hourglass/sensation in flaccid)
Post by: martin111 on January 22, 2023, 05:32:41 AM
Hi,

I am considering to start traction (PMP) in addition to antioxidant treatment (caps + ointment), although doctor didn't mention anything about it. Basically I have only slight left curvature and I'm not sure if it's congenial (I had trauma as teenager). Mainly I would like to fix slight two dents/hourglass with vein-like "ribs" on the right side sometimes visible in flaccid and sensation around that place in flaccid.
First of all I don't want to make situation worse, so I have a couple of questions. Probably some more experienced members could help clarifying my doubts.

1. Can light traction following all device's guidelines make situation worse? E. g. add injuries, create more plaque
2. Can traction help with slight hourglass/dent in flaccid state or sensation(mild pain?) in flaccid?
3. I read somewhere that traction not only stretches plaque, but also gives some impulse to organism to heal. Is this true?

Thank you and sorry in case my questions are referring to something obvious.

I think congenital means you're born with it in which case I'm not sure it would work since traction is meant to remodel scar tissue but maybe.

Personally I have a dent too and have a restorex I have been using on and off for it. It make my deformity look better but my erections weaker until I stop but sometimes it makes them stronger. So I don't really know what is best.

Maybe go to Dr. Trost website and call his clinic they can at least review your photos and if it Peyronie disease give you instructions on traction protocol.

Yes, sorry I meant congenital not congenial :)

Basically I'm more interested in fixing two slight dents in flaccid, which I'm not sure if they are effect of Peyronies Disease. Doctors say everything is soft there, US and elastography didn't show anything in that area. Nonetheless I can feel some uneven surface underneath in erection, but really don't know what it is. Basically these dents are on the right side, whereas I have slight left curvature.

I am aware traction might not help at all if this is not Peyronies Disease, but would like to make sure I won't do any harm in in case I try traction.

I don't know if I would do traction for the dents. I have been getting mixed results with it sometimes it seems to make me straighter and my erections firmer and others it makes them worse and feel thinner and tired (sometimes for days).I have read stories of guys w dents hourglass getting worse too.

As long as you are getting good erections and it is "slight" I wouldn't mess with it.
