Title: If ESWT can reduce pain, does ESWT then also reduce sensitivity ?

Numerous post mention pain reduction with EWST. Does it follow that there is risk of reduced sensitivity ?

Try gabapentinoids or Lyrica first.

Alternatively, you can use alpha lipoic acid - which is natural.

This question seems to be very straight forward. I've had not received an answer yet from the blogs in the forum. Which might be valued as a "good sign". However some users state that after ESWT-sessions some symptoms get worse, like additional scarring or the development of new plaques or even stronger curvature. Some say they can literally feel, that the hard pressure (although low energy??) waves definetley destroy tissue. However, many of these users report about using other things, like VED or traction devices at the same time. Furthermore some of them still seem to be in an "active phase" anyway, during which the desease naturally still progresses. All these factors make it really hard for me to judge wether there are true side effects possible or not.
