Post by: Pepela on April 18, 2015, 05:15:42 PM
Hi everybody, i need advise. My boyfriend got this peyronie's desease , we got know about it recently one month ago, when pain started in time of intercourse. He is saying that pain measures from 1 to 10 as 3-4. He went to doctor and he told him that he has this desease. I am shocked. We started planning our wedding this last months, met our families. We were so happy, but suddenly everything got ruined. He has depression, tries to avoid me. Everytime i am crying when i am alone. I am trying to encourage him that this is not the end of the world that he will not die because of this and i will never leave him and will support in everything , that we should go through this together. He became very cold to me. No love ,no hugs no kisses:( i miss him so much. Whenever i see him i am crying that i miss him , but he is cold like a stone. I dont know what to do. Everyday i am searching information about this desease. I made appointment for him in andrology clinic to get good advise from doctor who is specialised in this. Found some suppliments and bougjt for him. What else should i do. I need advise how to help him. I know here a lot of guys are writing , can anybody advise what should i do to help him. What do you think in this case girlfriend can do to help her boyfriend. I am so afraid to lose him. He is my whole life. I cant even imagine to live without him. Please help me to help him.

We have a ladies only board also, not seen by male members.
Write a PM to Christine or LWillisjr to get access.
I think you are doing everything you can, especially by getting appointment to a good Peyronies specialist.
Please let us know what treatment he is proposing you.
This disease should be treated as soon as you can to get best results. Continue with what you are doing, encourage him as you can as for a man his manhood is a very strong point in his self esteem.
I deleted your other post as it contains just a quote of a post on that topic, no addition from you.
Please read the forum rules regarding quotes.

Thank you james for your reply. Today we went to one doctor and advised us to take e-vitamin , L-carnitin, collegene one medication for erection , forgot the name. He told us we should wait for three month how will be the condition and than see what he can advise us. My fiance wants operation as soon as possible, but even doctor told him that at least one year it is not advisable to do so. Let's see. Anyway thanks for advises.

Good to hear that your fiance is cooperating :)
First, in my opinion you should see an other doctor. To take vitamin E will help maybe for general health, but will not help with Peyronies. L-Carnitine is OK, but in my opinion your fiance should take also Pentox, low dose Cialis and CoQ10.
Second, surgery is not possible until things are stabilizing and also we see the surgery (operation) as last resort.
Did you get access to the ladies room?

Papela;

He must not listen to this doctor. Waiting is the worst thing he can do, he must treat this now! If the disease is attacked now, you have a far better chance to halt its progress.

As James has said, Vit E will do nothing for Peyronies. The Carnitine you need is Acetyl l Carnitine, not ordinary l Carnitine.

I don't know if apentox is available without prescription in your country, if not ask for one.

Lastly, surgery is really the last resort if all else has failed and sex has become impossible. If he decides to go for that anyway, be very careful who the surgeon is.
