Hi,

Have you tried getting into therapy? Your best bet is a friend or family. We are here for information mostly and for support, but we aren't a therapy forum.

Westertown, you can talk to me. I disagree that a therapist that doesn't have Peroynes would help, in my opinion only someone with the same issues can help. I once called a therapist and he just told me not to be angry and hope that someone will one day find the solution

Bud Luck,

Do you think only a therapist that is paralyzed can help the paralyzed?
Only one with cancer and help those with cancer?
Only one who has a cheating spouse can help those with cheating spouses?
Only one who is a kleptomaniac, with body dysmorphia, and OCD can help one with those issues?

I view your response as backward and ignorant.  You do not go to a therapist to swap war stories.  You go to get coaching on how to change the thought habits that lock you into a damaging pattern of negativity.  You might consider trying one so you will be in less of a hurry to post false information to those who might otherwise seek help.

Any time you need to talk.  Feel free to contact me.  I am NOT a therapist but I can listen and I care about your health.  Have you sought any professional health support?  If so, can you share what type, when, and your assessment of that help?

Thanks. But no point. It's not your job to care, just to answer medical questions. And it's not my therapists job to care, just to listen and say the cliche. And it's not my doctors job to care, just to recommend useless pills and treatments and act like they are trying their best.

Call it a defeatist attitude if you want. I'm in too deep. Blame me if you want, but I'm not gonna deal with this forever- I just can't. I'm physically breaking down. Symptoms of pudendal neuralgia have grown too far gone. I feel like I am withering away and pain is now my new "normal." I'm not gonna make it.

If there was anyway to trade what I have for another life, I'd do it instantly, even if it meant some very nasty things

Westerntown, I won't argue with your analysis even though most people in a rational state of mind know that it is completely inaccurate.  That is the problem.  This condition has altered your thought process enough that you are not thinking rationally.  If you don't have a GOOD CBT therapist, then you have to find another one.  You also have to be prepared to work.  You are 20 years old.  If you were 40, there is NOTHING that could go wrong in your life that cannot be resolved to have a wonderful (not perfect) life.

What this has done to you physically is not the biggest challenge.  It is what it has done to you mentally.  Fortunately, that is the area over which you have the most control.

the cliche incarnated.

Mental therapy wont help a wobbly erection and it wont help tingling pains nipping me up the butt every time i sit down. Wishful thinking is wishful

That's fine Westerntown.  No one here has a driving need to convince you of something that you have made the decision to reject.
Even though we know that what a person thinks about Peyronies Disease destroys far more lives than the physical symptoms of Peyronies Disease,  you are free to leave the board

Since you do not qualify to post on this board ---> https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,17669.0.html
focus on making posts on the other boards, staying within the topic for each board.

Best of luck to you.
