That pretty much replicates the experience of the majority of men on here who tried PRP back around 2014 when I was active here. We had a long running debate, which at one point even included the shady doctor, Runnels, who created the "Priapus shot" as he came sniffing around for business.

Runnels' best medical advice, after being unable to produce even one case of a man whose curvature or deformity was cured or improved by his shot, was basically, "it should work - what have you got to lose?" Which is not particularly scientific. At that point, seeing he was going to be held to a high research/medical standard here, he picked up his ball and went home.

It's a shame sufferers of Peyronies Disease are losing large amounts of money on this bogus treatment. To be honest, I didn't realize it was still much of a "thing" at this point.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

I did it out of desesperation,at this point the only option left I have is the implant. But the implant is expensive and can have severe side effects, base of my past medical misfortunes ( vasectomy ruined my hormones and Trimix causing peroynes) I'm afraid that something could go wrong with the implant in my case, I'm being cursed, it doesn't make any sense that a vasectomy caused me ED when it doesn't happen to anyone just me!!!!.

The PRP shot really made my deformity worse, my erections are worse than ever been, my nighttime are gone!!!!! I just read Dr Trost saying that PRP injection can cause more scaring instead of healing.

PRP is full of cytokines that can trigger the inflammation process and worsen the fibrosys . It can work on the joint pain , I guess but the tratment is counterindicate in case of Peyronies Disease :-\

Is too late for me now. Unfortunately a lot of "clinics" in the USA promote the use of PRP to help with Peroynes, now my penis is almost dead

Bacluck - sorry to hear that. My Ed improved drastically from VED, daily cialis and a healthy diet.

Don't give up yet.

Several clinics here have recommended the PRP shot to me for my Peyronie's.  They keep telling me they will inject right into the plaque to help break it up a bit.  It has been so tempting with the promise of better erections and more length.  Thank you all for sharing!  I was honestly very tempted here.

BrettC, Dr Trost did mention that PRP could increase inflammation and scar tissue, but I was willing to take the risk hearing from "success stories" on the internet, I don't learn, seems that everything that I do makes my condition worse.

PRP shots definitely made things worse for me.  Is there anyway to sue these practitioners?  I had one small area causing a bend.  I was told to have PRP injections all over/around my penis.  A few weeks later I had multiple lumps, dents, and everything shrunk.  It was a nightmare.  It still is a nightmare.  Its been 2 years since those injections and I have lost about 30% of my overall size.  Its like it was a penis shrinking procedure.  PLEASE reconsider if you are thinking about PRP.

Kanteen76,

Can you please include information about yourself in your profile? Would also be beneficial to include this ancedote about PRP!
