Hi guys,
when would you say it's the right time to start with VEDing? Should one wait 12-18 months after the initial onset of peyronie or peyronie-like symptoms beforde using a VED?
I have a intendation below the glans since october 2019 and from time to time, I experience hourglassing/bottlenecking when semi-erect, although not always.
I talked to two urologists about VED - one was in favor, the other one said I should stick simply to tadalafil 5mg.
So I'm in a kind of dilemma:
- I want to get rid of that indentation / hourglassing ASAP
- I don't want to risk further irritation or even injury
Really confusing...
Greetings
Start now but NEVER overpump to full erection.
Thank you Tony.
Maybe I got it wrong because I'm not a native English speaker, but:
You mean not overpumping to MORE than a full erection, right?
Because according to the VED protocols in this board, one cycle means pumping exactly to full erection (so without any pain/discomfort) and hold that for 5-10 seconds, correct?
I thought the protocols were to pump to a given percent of full erection, but please check. Many here can speak to the details.
Yeah the forum protocol for 3-cylinder medical VED says the following:
pump to 20% erection - hold for 5 to 10 sec
pump to 30% erection - hold for 5 to 10 sec
pump to 50% erection - hold for 5 to 10 sec
But the SomaCorrect Manual for Peyronies Disease says otherwise:
https://www.imedicare.co.uk/media/80753/somacorrect-patient-manual-2013-with-peyronies-instructions-web.pdf
Quote:
Continue this process for 10 to 20 minutes generating as many full erections as
possible in this time using the pumping protocol highlighted above . Once you've
completed this routine you've finished your session.
Very confusing...
Gotcha, I'd follow the protocols here-not in the manual. Many guys have had problems pumping to max.
