Title: Ultrasound results. Not sure if right spot on forum.
Post by: Mkmike on December 10, 2017, 10:58:49 PM
The study demonstrates an intact corpus spongiosum and bilateral corpus
cavernosum along the entire shaft of the penis. Along the distal left aspect
of the corpus cavernosum is a small fluid collection with surrounding
subcutaneous edema that measures 1.7 x 0.5 x 0.3 cm. There is no increased
vascular flow. It appears to be superficial to the fascia and likely
represents a resolving hematoma. No other significant abnormality is
identified.

This is from March so a bit old, going for another test in two weeks because of insurance (or sooner if insurance wont cover any of it). Wonder the opinion some of you might have. Thanks

May i ask why you did an ultrasound, and why did you have an hematoma?

Injury in October 2016, girl on top. Lead to flaccid pain and a 20 degree bend left. No pain while erect, minor ed. Curve upward too but not sure what degree, possibly 20-30. The flaccid pain is largely gone except after masterbation. Cannot feel a plaque but some hardness and a cordlike structure which is thin and extends Midway up the shaft to just before the head.

With a bend developing after trauma, it sure sounds like Peyronies Disease regardless of the ultrasound results...but since it's been 14 months you may have entered the stable phase at 20 degrees.

I have a bit of pain that comes and goes while flaccid. Right now it hurts a bit so i wonder if it is all that stable or if i re injured it somehow recently after masturbation.

Flair ups may happen, also without additional injury.
Try Pentox for the pain

I saw a urologist today and they did an ultrasound. I am awaiting the results but the person doing the ultrasound was very informative and told me that he found no plaques. This was done while flaccid so what it could tell us about bloodflow is inconclusive. No damage to the corpus cavernosum or arteries so that's good but info on venous leak is hard to see while flaccid. The doctor said that likely the pain while flaccid is coming from pelvic floor dysfunction, and referred me to physical therapy for it. She could not find plaque in her physical examination of me either, leaving the bend, hour-glassing while flaccid, and bend while flaccid a bit of a mystery. She is convinced the pain is due to pelvic floor problems though. I have not gotten back the official results yet, still waiting for them to go up on my medical record, but once they do i will post them. The uro doc also recommend that i hold off on any other therapy, VED and/or Traction, until after the pelvic floor thing is solved then go from there.
