Hello to all members,
I wanted to tell you all about my history with peyronie's disease so far. Because I currently have a little hope for a further improvement in my illness. I wanted to announce that here too. I might be able to help someone else here in the forum. It all started last summer after a hernia operation. After a sex break of 4 weeks, I initially had pain and in the next 3 months my penis felt a kind of constriction, including a slight curvature and shrinkage. Unfortunately, I had mistakenly thought it was related to my surgery and delayed seeing a urologist for too long. when I finally went to see the urologist in October last year, he told me that I have peyronie's disease. Not only that. The plaque had already become too calcareous. He told me our goal is that I would no longer be in pain and that intercourse with my wife would work. We started with a modular therapy consisting of a drug (Tadalfin), daily use of a penis extender and weekly shock wave therapy. until a good 3 months ago, only little happened at first (better blood circulation and hardly any pain). hen Dr. Tosev from Elektromotive Medication Application and asked me if we would like to try it. I agreed. this is probably comparable or even better than an injection. The drugs contain cortisone and are anti-inflammatory. Nothing new happened in the further course. Four weeks later, Dr. Tosev excitedly approached me early in the morning and told me again about a new method (therapeutic ultrasound) that he would like to try out on me. His approach is to first soften it with extracorporeal shock wave therapy, then heat it up with therapeutic ultrasound. and to administer the medication directly afterwards with the Elektromotive medication application. After the third treatment, the plaque on the front of my penis was suddenly gone. two weeks later it has become softer on the left rear and finally also quite softer on the rear. This is my current state now. Dr. Tosev told me last week that he is now treating 7 men with the method. One (was in the early stages) is already gone. In another (already 4 years ill) the angle decreased from 90 degrees to 30 degrees after 3 treatments. have now reserved a series of treatments with 3 appointments per week, which makes me incredibly motivated and suddenly full of hope. I will keep you informed.
PS: Please excuse possible language errors - went through the google translated
Every report is very much appreciated here.
Btw, I can recommend using deepl.com as translator, which gives very good results.
I write in english but use it to double check every post. Give it a try ;)
Is it Dr. Torsev from Mannheim?
So now your regimen is:
1. ESWT
2. Ultrasound Treatment
3. EMDA with cortisone
And you already lost a calcified plaque?
Thats great and a good reason for hope, keep us updated!
Please report if you have improvements, if you do, I will go to Germany and get the treatment
Hello all,
@Blex: correct, it is Dr. Tosev from Mannheim.
He also gave me his email address for all of you. So you can reach him directly and ask your questions in English:
contact@mannheim-urology.com
Since my first post here in the forum I have been to another appointment. Once again I felt a little progress:
- During the EMDA treatment it tingled right at the beginning - An indication that the medication is coming through better again.
- I can also feel that the plaque has softened again and is receding.
Dr. Tosev told me about another patient with a drastic decrease in plaque after 8 appointments in quick succession. This patient is also said to be already in the chronic phase (almost 3 years since onset).
I will try to check in with you weekly and report on further developments.
best regards to all
For how long are the treatments?, I'm willing to live in Germany just to complete all the treatments. Are the treatments 1 year? Months?
I contacted Dr Tosev clinic and they told me is two weeks of therapy for just $2500.
I send the pictures of my penis to Dr Tosev to see if he thinks that his therapy can help me or if is too severe that my only option is the implant, I'm waiting for his answer, if he thinks I can improve with the therapy I'm going to Germany. Thank you for the information Bob Sacamano
Dr Tosev clinic said that it can work for me, I'll take my last shot with this therapy, I'll make the appointment and do it.
interesting post! keep us updated
Bob scamano, will you send me prove that your condition improved? Like send me pictures before and after?. The reason is because I'm willing to stay in Germany for two weeks to get this therapy, but I need real prove that it works. April 29th I have a phone consultation with Dr Tosev, I will ask him to send me pictures of penis patients to see their improvements that the clinic mentioned, I can't just stay in Germany for two weeks for nothing, the only way I can trust the therapy is if a see the results
I am very interested as well, but I need more than just word of mouth. I had access to an ultrasound machine, the ultrasound alone did nothing for me except improve blood flow temporally. Having said that i could see where this may be helpful To reduce inflammation increase blood flow before the shot was administered.
Although some of it doesn't make sense to me. I know the trouble with peyronies medicine is that it eventually spreads to the other parts of the body via blood flow. You would think increasing blood flow via ultrasound would just help the injection disperse even faster because of the improved blood flow.
In the contrary to the contrary maybe the ultrasound has a blood pooling affect because it's drawing more blood to the area so the injected medicine may stay in the area Longer
Please provide pictures and tell us about the next patients if they had good results
Curvekiller94, I'm been communicating with Dr Tosev via email, he told me that he treated 17 men and one of them has a similar case as mine due to trauma( I send him 6 pictures of my penis), he said that all of them improved (base on his statements, I didn't see any pictures). He said that half of them improved after 6 sessions and the other half after 12 sessions= 1 month of therapy. The therapy for 6 sessions is 2500 Euros, so I guess for 12 sessions will be 5000 Euros, plus of course all the expenses of house rent, food, transportation......if this therapy would improve my condition I'm willing to do it, but I don't know the long term side effects...
My girlfriend thinks that I should wait until there are more men treated and the Therapy becomes approved worldwide as a valid therapy for our "problem", I don't know, I had a bad experience with the magic "P-shot", it made my penis weaker on the area of my identation. But if I see multiple pictures of improvement I'm willing to take the risk again!!!!!
the approach is kind of fishy, so as long as we don't have any evidence this is worth nothing.
@Bud Luck: the Doctor told you that all of his (17) patients "improved". The question is: what does that mean? And you have to ask yourself: what would you consider an improvement?
Because improvement can also mean that an ultrasound reveals that the plaque has reduced in size. But what is it worth if there is no visible improvement in penile size (length, girth etc) or deformity? For me, that kind of improvement is the only relevant one.
So I think that you should definitely ask the Doctor (if you have not already) what kind of improvement you can realistically expect. Because if there is some misunderstanding, the disappointment and psychological consequences could be enormous.
Otherwise thanks to the original poster for the detailed information. It is encouraging to see that some doctors are at least trying to be somewhat inventive.
Igrace, This Friday he will call me on WhatsApp, I will ask him numerous questions but also I will insist that I need images of improvement from some of his patients, I need graphic images

Hello Bad Luck, hello everyone,
I will be honest: the changed shape does not satisfactorily reflect the positive plaque development at the moment. So far, I had a series of appointments (once a week) with the triple method. From Monday my intensive treatment starts (6 sessions in 2 weeks). I hope for a lot from this, as this brought great success with another patient. I would like to wait for that, then I will gladly send you before/after pictures, ok?

Thank you
Hopefully you get done with this. Waiting for your results !
I talked to Dr Tesov over the phone today, I explained to him my case over the phone, he is not sending me pictures of patients but I'm going and try the therapy anyways, probably won't work but what do I have to lose besides money lol. I have to go to Barcelona to stay with my family for two weeks so Germany is not that far from there plus I've never been in Germany so it will enjoy seeing the country, anyway after the whole therapy I will post the pictures, these are the pictures on how my penis looks now
I also talked to Dr. Tosev today, wrote with his assistant before.
Therapy is ESWT, Ultrasound, EMDA with Verapamil and Dexamethasone.
He additionally recommended the usual stuff: Tadalafil, Vitamin E, L-Arginine, Traction and Heparin Cream.
He says he has good results so far and he will make a retrospective study when he had enough patients.
No adverse effects so far, I guess it is worth a shot
If allowed, for anyone interested, this is their website:

@bud luck
Dr Tosev mentioned talking to people from overseas today, guess that would have been you. On a light note, you Americans for sure have a different sense of distances, I live 320km/200 miles from Mannheim and it will be quite the journey for me. But you are right, nothing to lose but money. And people spend more on a fender bender, especially in good old Germany.
I set up the appointments, they only take cash and I have to pay for the whole therapy up front, 2500 Euros!!!. Well, I hope I get some improvement even if is mild, I cross my fingers, this is the last "experiment" I'll try, if it doesn't work I'll get an implant in my 60's
I wish you good luck, Bud Luck. Don't spend too much time in Mannheim or its neighboring city Ludwigshafen. They are usually always in the Top 5 ranking of the ugliest cities in Germany. Speyer is worth a visit and the Pfalz (Palatinate) in general, especially in case you are into wine. If you want to hear the familiar talk of fellow Americans, just go to Heidelberg. The streets are full of American tourists, usually ex-military who want to show the city to their (grand-) children. The smaller cities of the hessische Bergstraße are nice to visit as well. Paying upfront for physicians is quite unusual here in Germany. Maybe it's only a thing with international patients?!
I'm from Barcelona, Spain but I've been in the USA for the last 20 years of my life. Anyhow, they told me that they charged up front because they have to pay for all the medications used for the treatment
What I know is that if this therapy works I guarantee you that so many men will go to Dr Tosev for treatment, because if it works I will post my results right away. We are suffering in silence a major psychological issue due to fibrosis in our penises.
Hello all,
as announced, today I started my intensive appointment series with Dr. Tosev. And there is good news: Dr. Tosev reported to me that now already 4 of the 17 treated people are cured. From one person we will get before/after photos in the next days.
Many greetings
Cured? That is a strong statement, I guess it all depends of the severity. My condition is severe, I will be happy with an improvement.
As always, I will happily prove him right. Aiming to get treatment around May/June.
Gerald, thank you for the traveling tipps, will take the opportunity to explore BaWü for a bit while I am there.
About the treatment itself:
Dr. Tosev told me it is a bit less expensive for Germans, because some of the cost can apparently be redirected to our health insurance.
So in the end it is not much more expensive per session than ESWT alone.
Using Verapamil (calcium channel blocker) and Dexmethasone (corticosteroid) for peyronies is not completely new, via Google Search, some studies with varying success can be found.

hey Bud light
what is your angle of curvature? in those photos seems like your penis is fine to be honest. i have like a 60 degrees upwards and my whole penis looks like a banana :-\
I just find out through an ultrasound that I have fibrosis, but not plaque, basically I don't have Peroynes, I have fibrosis. The Dr told me that the P-shot that I got months ago made things worse, because it caused more fibrosis, that is causing my injured area to be weaker. I advice everyone on this forum to be aware of injections.
Bob, are you getting improvement with the therapy? Are you seeing your deformation changing? Are you getting better erections? I couldn't go to the therapy because I only have two weeks off from work, not enough time for the therapy in Germany, I miss Spain when I had 31 days paid vacation
Yeah Europe is something, we got 30 days paid vacation, 6 weeks fully paid sick leave (per sickness) and 78 weeks 70% paid sick leave...
Still, getting peyronies here sucks the same as anywhere
I will start the 2 weeks treatment from 23.05 on.
My condition has worsened at the beginning of the year, going from a small painful lump, to a large plaque with slight bend up and severe hourglass.
Will report if anything improves.
Blex, are you improving?, how is the therapy working for you?. I'm currently doing shock wave therapy and is improving my erections but is doing nothing for my fibrosis
I'm in Mannheim right now and had my first treatment yesterday.
Dr. Tosev is very optimistic, but I have nothing to report so far.
Second treatment is today, will update in two weeks or if anything improves.
You can ask me anything about the treatment.
Update:
I finished the first 6 sessions of treatment in two weeks now.
To be honest I still have no real improvement.
Dr. Tosev went from optimistic to well... slightly less optimistic.
Before treatment he told me, I would have an improvement in plaques quickly and no pain anymore.
After the first week, he said he would get rid at least of the pain, because this would stop progress of peyronies.
After the second week, he said it seems in my case (trauma) a total of 18 treatments would be needed.
Now I should wait 4-8 weeks for improvements and then call him again.
Treatment cost is 2/3 goind towards ESWT.
He uses the PiezoWave 2 with the linear focus attachment (Picture 1).
In my opinion, this is not the correct one, the small focus center one (Picture 2) should be used for peyronies.
For EMDA he uses the Mini Physionizer (Picture 3).
He told me I have loss of feeling, because I did neither feel pain from ESWT nor heat from Ultrasound nor tingling from EMDA.
This astonished me, because pain was always my main problem, so I would appreciate less feeling at the moment.
I have felt pain with ESWT when another doctor used another attachment.
Dr. Tosev also prescribed the following medicamentation:
2,5mg Tadalafil 1/day
1g L-Arginine 1/day
400mg Vitamin E 1/day
Heparine Creme 1/day
Thank you for your honesty. I did 4 sessions of Shock Wave therapy and I don't see any improvement in penis blood flow. I basically spend $2000 in the "magic" O-zone injections that made my fibrosis worse, and I spend $800 on Shockwave therapy that didn't do anything. All these "experts" know how desperate we are and take our money
Well now we know why Bob Sacramento completely disappeared, this stuff is a total scam lol
Thank you Blex for reporting back on your progress with this experiment
Maybe Bob was part of the scam
Note that I did not say the treatment was a scam.
I just reported my experience and what seemed odd to me.
Could very well be that it is say 50% effective and I am unlucky again.
Of course, after 1 year of 24/7 pain, having visited 10 different doctors and my situation having only worsened, you can imagine I am beyond frustrated.
Blex, everything I tried to correct my problem it made it worse: P-shot, Traction, VED...well I think Shocked Waves helped me with erections. Some guys are lucky and get better and some guys like me get worse no matter what. I'm been extremely unlucky for sure, hope you get better.
Interesting approach please keep us updated about any improvements, I would also considering going there if it actually works out
Blex did you improved?
I am 1 month post treatment now, here is my final update in this thread.
Have done a total of 10x ESWT, 6x US/EMDA sessions plus EMDA at home.
Absolutely no improvement in either deformation, plaque size or pain.
Will proceed to surgery now and have already made up some appointments with different surgeons.
Some of them are local and some are of international renown, i.e. Dr. Hatzichristodoulou.
Met the first one near me some weeks ago, and he was willing to do Incision/Grafting.
Important note for german readers:
Despite what some shady websites are telling you, cost for surgery is in fact fully covered by statutory health insurance!
In German: Die gesetzliche Krankenkasse übernimmt die Kosten für die Operation problemlos in voller Höhe!
Also going to make a 1 year peyronies progression post soon, so stay tuned.
Blex, thank you for sharing the news, good kuck for the surgery
Thank you for the update! And keeping my fingers crossed for you. I went to Dr. Hatzichristodolu. I don't know about his surgery skills, but by far the best informed doctor I have met so far. But for him I think you have to pay private as he is the "Chefarzt".
