Cialis is safe and will provide added inflammation reduction and help with keeping your penis filled with fresh oxygenated blood. Starting traction soon should help with preventing any more curvatures and size reductions. Doing nothing will not help you out at this point. Being proactive with a plan of action is a must. Remember that this is a marathon and not a sprint. Also have you taken any preliminary measurements of your penis? It can help you in the long run for actually knowing just how much you have lost or regained back in your size if any.

Yep, very interesting. Also to add, the strength of my erection can determine my degree of curvature because of this. If I'm very erect, like after a week of abstinence, the curve can be straighter.. Never perfectly straight, maybe a tad bit less than 20 degrees. It can be at it's straightest 20 degrees or a tiny bit less. At most, it can be 30 degrees, if I haven't abstained, causing the indented area to flop more. I wonder if that is similar for you also.

I am honestly quite tempted to try an injection, leaning towards the P-shot. Intuitively it makes sense to me that the increased blood will force the contraction to expand and open up, but I haven't looked into the P-shot enough to do it yet. I'm doubtful that Xiaflex would be of benefit/appropriate for what we both have, even when ignoring the costs and focusing on effectiveness.

ETG surgery also would definitely fix the issue, at least cosmetically, but I'd rather try and open up the contraction than place a graft on top.  I guess if all else fails, ETG would be the answer.

I honestly have nothing to add to the discussion other than the fact that I have the same exact thing as you, as you can see on my signature, dent that makes the penis curve to the right and same exact thing as you are describing. The area that is dented makes my penis suffer from instability while erect and also folds over to the right.

I also have no palpable plaque according to 3 different urologists.

Some interesting stuff from that study.

I have read in literature that 'Our surgical experience has shown us that the area of indentation is a contracture, rather than an area of underlying corporal fibrosis.' https://ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4708590/

As someone suffering from an indentation right where my penis curves, I wonder if my curvature is actually being caused by this 'contraction' at the indented spot, rather than a plaque itself, if that makes sense.

I have no palpable plaque, and when I am fully erect the indent feels as though it hasn't fully expanded like the rest of my erection, to the point where the skin at the curve/indent feels 'loose' because the shaft skin has had to stretch to accommodate for being in an erect state, although the indent hasn't expanded to 'fill out' the skin there. For reference I am circumcised so when fully erect my shaft skin holds tight, hence the significance of the skin being loose at the indent.

Imagine a sort of 'localised erectile dysfunction' in a sense, as in, the indented spot isn't becoming fully erect, thus causing my erection to 'flop over' (curve) to the right due to the indent being on the right. If I also manually hold my penis straight when I'm erect, the indentation becomes visible, whereas when I don't hold it straight the ident isn't visible as it sort of folds in on itself, causing only a curve to be visible. There is no resistance when I try and hold my erection straight.

The indented area also does not feel erect, it feels semi-erect at best, and not 'rigid' or firm like the rest of the erection. The difference in girth and rigidity when holding the erection straight to reveal the indentation also indicates to me that that area may be contracted/unable to fully expand or become fully erect, rather than covered in hard plaque. There is nothing palpable, it feels exactly like a semi erect shaft if I press the area. Nothing palpable when flaccid either.

I have no erectile dysfunction issues, and even with Tadalafil the indent does not expand, so I know it is not due to ED.

Would like to hear others thoughts on this.

Thanks for the reply Mikel7!

yeah, I've had a good look at the survival guide, hence why I got some of the supplements.

my erections are weak (from what I notice when I wake up) and non-existent during the day. they don't really fill out the glans/ top if my penis that well. I feel sometimes a light soreness or swellign on the injured side, kind of going into the body/groin area. I'll try to get a cialis prescription from my GP. Is it safe this early on in the process?

Regarding traction, it would probably be the PMP, restorex isn't available in Europe. I think maybe it's too early for that, I don't want to risk re-injury. And I don't think my penis is hanging "loose" enough for it right now..
For sure, I haven't actually masturbated for several weeks since it only seems to aggravate, even just by getting and checking the erection. Should I stay put and let it heal for a few more weeks?

Let me know if you have any other advice on getting past the inflammation phase! I'll try to stay optimistic here, haha.

Quote from: tsp on April 04, 2024, 01:05:52 PMThe two bends may or may not be caused by the same piece of scar tissue. You could have separate scarring at the two locations, or one big scar that wraps around your shaft.

If I understand you correctly, you have a dent while partially erect that fills up when fully erect. This is not unusual, and partially erect dents shouldn't matter as long as your erect penis is fine.

You're correct. The bend upwards is much more problematic than the curve when I'm erect.

When I use Restorex to bend opposite the dent, I can easily get to 120 degrees. When I bend downward I can barely get to 90 degrees.  Is it possible that this lack of flexibility compared to the side bend is the result of more rigid scar tissue, or something mechanical with the Restorex device?
