Its been 2 and a half weeks since I had my Nesbitts Procedure and I have been having prolonged strong erections. While they're not painful, they're slightly uncomfortable. I am nervous that perhaps these erections will break a suture/stitch. I have not masturbated as I am told not to do so for 4 to 6 weeks, but I have been having wet dreams with minimal pain, and I have not been waking up at all due to erections in the middle of the night. I sleep through them comfortably. The doctor said that the stitches from a previous nesbitt surgery had broken, but he's used stitches made with titanium in this surgery. I just want to know if prolonged erections could break these stitches. Thank you.
The inverse of your question is that the thread itself is anti-fragility, that it gets stronger with stress and time. And that there just hasn't been enough time for the thread to reach full strength.
But, this is not the case. The thread is as strong today as it will be five years from now. So, you're good, as long as the surgeon did what he said.
Use bagged ice or frozen peas if your erections peg out on the "freaking me out" scale during these early weeks.
Your post highlights more questions guys contemplating surgery to get their curve remove should ask: What brand of thread are you using on the plications? What is the track record on this thread -- how often does it break, post-surgery, from rock hard erections?
What about the skin itself? Is it possible that the stitches would be able to tear the skin, undoing what the stitches have acomplished?
Skin is very stretchy. After my surgery, I could tell that erections placed the skin cut line under strain, but the stitches didn't tear the skin. Today, it isn't apparent that I even had surgery.

Yep I am straight after this surgery, and there are no issues I'm aware of. The healing time has been a lot faster after this surgery and A LOT less painful. I haven't woken up once due to a nocturnal erection. They let me keep my foreskin too
There are two things to be concerned about with suture failure. Sutures breaking and tissue cut through. Tissue cut through is when the pressure of the erections slowly causes the suture slice through the plications. Once scar tissue has had time to fully form (6 months to a year) the risk of tissue cut through is dramatically reduced. The scar tissue is tougher than the other penile tissue.
Here is a link to a study where some of this is documented. The study notes that when there is failed procedures is hard to know if it is due to suture breakage or tissue cut through.
