Title: Can you get Peyronies Disease in your 20s?
Post by: Curious Case on August 02, 2015, 11:14:18 PM
Is it possible to get Peyronies Disease in your 20s? I had a curve that became a bend towards the left. There was some pain, but it was on the right side, and probably due to jerking off too much [too much time on my hands]. I've had no ED whatsoever. The bend looks like a case of Peyronies Disease, but I don't have the other symptoms. Is it Peyronies Disease?

Yes, you can get Peyronie's in your 20's, I got it at age 29.

It is possible that you may not have Peyronie's; the only way to tell is to go to a urologist and get a diagnosis.

My advice is to not stress out about this until you see a urologist.

Tim,
I'm  a little confused about your point Yes you can get Peyronies in your 20's. But you are born with a congenital condition. Congenital isn't something you get like Peyronies.

We have members here who get it in their teens. My first symptoms started at 18 or 19, and my active phase started when I was 24.
Be very gentle when masturbating and make sure you only do it when you are very hard, don't over do it man!

I have nearly recovered from Peyronie's, meaning my bend has been smoothed out and my penis looks completely straight when 100% hard. Things a bit uneven when filling out, which is common for most guys, but in general things are good again. You can read about my success on the success story sub forum. This is not to say I am "cured" but in a lot of ways I consider myself better. When you are genetically prone to the disease, or when you have a clear case, you will never forget about it. There will always be a day once in a while when it becomes bent and inflamed again, but those days decrease in number to the point where you feel normal. I can only speak for myself so don't get the wrong idea, this disease is brutal and for some it only gets worse, but there are ways to treat it, and there are ways to improve your penile health. Focus on that buddy!

A congenital (born with it) curve can be aggravated and result in the development of Peyronie's (PDS).  A good diagnosis is important.  So is good nutrition.  We tend to be Magnesium deficient in the "western" world, and that deficiency is common to all sorts of fibrosis issues.  PDS is essentially a fibrosis issue, so seek out Magnesium rich foods or a good supplement.  Above all, don't injure yourself.
