Title: doctor oz.
Post by: jcann63 on July 03, 2014, 10:59:57 AM
Hello everyone...I am 62 years old. At 60 years of age i began to notice that I had a hard lump developing in my penis. The onset was very fast.I have the Hourglass P.D. along with the bad curve. I saw a dr.oz show yesterday and they were dicussing a new drug for P.D. it has just been approved by the FDA. It's called Xaiflex. It is Injected into the Penis. It dissoles the Plaque over a period of 4 treatments ...along with penis excercises. I have seen the Best Uroligist in GA. I went to Emery in Atlanta 4 times. My case is so bad that surgery was not recomended. They mentioned a new trial test on a drug called Xaiflex. It had not been approved by the FDA at that time. After watching the Dr. Oz show and listening to one of the Men who took part in the trial, I became excited ! I am going to get my Local Dr. here  to Hook Me Up! I will post my progress along the way while taking the injections. Wish me Luck! Men..... lets hope that it works and I can feel like a Man Again! :)

Jcann,

Xiaflex can have bad effects or not help at all. I don't even know if it can help hourglassing, and despite being new to Peyronie's, it's old news to us here.

Here's a look at the (possible) dark side.
Auxilium Collagenase (Xiaflex) for Peyronies Disease - Clinical Trial Side Effects and Discussion (http://xiaflexpoison.blogspot.jp/)

Read up on all the topics here on the forums regarding Xiaflex. Decide for yourself.

Is your urologist a Peyronie's specialist? Are you on pentox?

Look into the treatments that us on these boards undergo. Read about everyone's experience with Xiaflex here. The most promising treatments as of now are VED therapy, oral pentox, CoQ10, and traction. Please spend some time to check out everything on these forums.

Make sure you're uro is a true specialist, and if you do undergo Xiaflex, good luck, I really hope it helps.

Do you know "Moderators Report" are for?
Can you explain why you opened a report regarding NeoV post?
You are stating:
QuoteI have seen the Best Uroligist in GA.
Could you name him? We would like to have other members also getting treatment from the Best Urologist in GA.
Regarding Dr. Oz show, yes, I agree is a show. Personally I am not sure that is more than that.
Last, Xiaflex trials and results are very much documented on this forum. We have a board dedicated just to Xiaflex. Proposing you to read it before opening a Moderator report.
