Hello guys, its been 1 week after xiaflex injection round 1, and I have been experiencing weaker morning wood. I was wondering how long did it take you guys to get back to normal erectile function after xiaflex ?
I experienced the same thing. I had reduced morning wood and also had difficulty getting and maintaining an erection. This continued for me for about 2 months. I spoke with my Doctor and he told me that it was not a side effect he had seen before. Two weeks after i met with him, which was about 2 months after my second shot, morning wood returned as did my ability to get an erection.
Basically Xiaflex is creating trauma in the penis every time it is injected. Plus you have a certain volume of fluid that goes in there too. No surprise it could effect erections. And actually I am grateful when it does. I was told I can not masturbate or have sex for at least two weeks after the treatment. So nice to not have to worry about things popping up when I can't do much about it.
I say it's kind of a positive side effect given the circumstances.
Thank you for the information. steadily my erections are getting better with time. I just completed 2 weeks with Xiaflex and erections are vastly improved from what I had after 1 week.
