Title: Can a vasectomy worsen Peyrnoies?
Post by: climbinglife on May 06, 2021, 04:21:43 PM
Hey all,
I haven't posted in a while. I was diagnosed in Early 2018 with a 22.5 upward curve. It's been stable and I'm thinking about getting a Vasectomy and I wanted to know if there has been any correlation with vasectomys causing Peyronies Disease or making it worse? I searched and couldn't find much. I have a Dr. app with my regular Peyronies Disease doctor and am going to ask what he thinks but I anted to ask here as well.

thanks!

Did you ever have the surgery? I'm in the same boat and really worried about a vasectomy triggering more inflammation and more plaques.

Vasectomy caused me major hormonal changes, type on Google " changes of testosterone conversion to DHT after Vasectomy", DO NOT HAVE A VASECTOMY, but is up to you
I have a friend from Germany who is a Doctor and he told me not to do it, but the "Urologist" told me that vasectomy was completely"safe", so I did it, one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

It is true that some men do have a change in their hormones after a vasectomy. I'm not sure as to the percentages though. Lower levels of androgen's can be a contributing factor in peyronies.

Before the vasectomy I already had Ulcerative Colitis that is an immune disease, but my hormones were perfect, my erections were very strong. The vasectomy changed everything, and years later I got Peroynes disease, every single Urologist will say that vasectomy doesn't change anything because they want to make Money!!!! Vasectomy just affects a percentage of men so is a risk that you are willing to take? Do not listen to the Urologist
