hi all,
is it possible to increase the capacity of our inboxes?
i have received valuable messages from members throughout this time here and every time it is about to get full i need to delete a good one (or save in word and lose track of the document).
i don't know if anyone else has this need

Thanks for asking. Few things are done here by accident. Most have been thought through and discussed at length and are done after careful consideration for the forum's success in accomplishing our mission. That mission is educating and supporting men and couples everywhere. This includes the hundreds of thousands who read the forum and never register.
It is possible to make larger in-boxes.
Inbox capacity is connected to the number of posts you make. The more posts, the higher your member group (newbie, solid contributor, etc.), the larger your inbox.
Forum moderators have unlimited inboxes.
There are two reasons we limit inbox size.
1. Stored inbox messages of all 20,000 current and past members takes up the resource of the server capacity. This capacity has to be purchased at an increased financial cost.
2. This is a forum and not intended to function as a messaging service or app. Members are expected to communicate with each other on an open forum (anonymously) where many can learn from the exchange. Questions asked and answered on open forum benefit many thousands over decades. Those discussed by PM benefit one person for a minimal time. Questions asked by PM get the wisdom of one person. Questions asked on the open forum get the combined wisdom of thousands.
In short, larger inboxes cost more and actually defeat the very purpose for which the forum exists. You are free to share your email address, phone numbers, or messaging app id with anyone if your main interest is private communication.

I highly appreciate your response and fully understand that bigger inboxes would imply higher costs.
If you are working from your pc then create a folder called "Peyronies Messages" . Inside of the folder create a blank word document that you can paste copies from important messages you would like to keep. I realize you probably know how to do this. It is really a very quick operation. I do this and have sub categories of messages from individuals and different topics that are important.
