Title: how soon can I start traction?? Noticed a dent after painful erection for 4 mont
Post by: Kobegianna on April 11, 2021, 12:03:15 AM
I posted on the introduce myself forum

But I been having pain for 4 months and I noticed a dent forming right below the glans head about 2 weeks ago. I am wondering if I can start traction and VED or do I need to wait? I want to get ahead of this as soon as possible. I am also scared that once dents form is it just going to progress worse and worse? Are we supposed to stop having sex and masturbating completely? The last couple months have been devesating on my phsyce. Im barely hanging on. All my friends and family can notice that I extremely shut up and depressed. I don't know how to go on.

I have a slight 20 degree bend towards the left, not sure if its congenital or self induced. also hour glassing when stretched flaccid
I have attached some photos

I'm panicking even more now. Just tried getting erect and found another dent forming ventral right side right below glans. I feel like it just keep getting worse the last week. 2 dents in one week. Erections takes forever to get and not as full. Not even close. Have to manually stimulate. Pain has subsided alittle but I'm not sure if it's actually subsided or because I been taking ibuprofen.  I am devastated right now. I have no will to live or continue working. I'm a dead. How will I tell my friends and family?

i started traction 1 week after i noticed a lump and dent, and am seeing some very positive results. have your read the survival guide?

you should get started with some sort of traction or VED straight away along with the advised supplements!

I have a pretty severe curve and indentation at the same spot as you show in the photos.

Also every time I try to do manual traction I get semi or 3/4 erect. I don't understand how people can do traction for hours on in

Don't do manual traction when erect or semi-erect! It has caused me some injuries

I think you should also start some sort of traction or VED. The supplements will not hurt you at all and might even help. Remember this is a marathon.

So I'm not losing my mind here. Everyone's seeing the curvature and dent in my penis? I was hoping and praying it was in my head. I have Peyronie's? Is this going to go on forever. Do I need to take these supplements or Pentox forever? Or u til symptoms subside?

Do not panic! You have minimal curvature. The indentation might point towards peyronies and plaque formation. I would suggest traction and/or VED. I know how it feels to fumble in the dark. Go see a doctor and get a proper answer.

Do I have to be in the chronic phase before I try traction or can I do it in the acute phase?

To me the opinions seem to be split on doing early traction versus traction during chronic phase. You'll see the debate here and the messages and even amongst doctors. For me I first noticed a lump/nodule and that quickly led to indentation. I'd say it was only in a couple of weeks time that the curvature started quite suddenly in my case anyway. I also had a stinging sensation at the tip. One thing to keep in mind is at least with me is 98% erect has a much smaller curvature than at 100%.

Just went to uro. Confirm plaque in Septum area. Like two hard nodules can be felt. When erect nodules cannot be get because there are in the middle septum area causing indentation and hlurglassing. No pain on erection anymore. Not sure if traction or ved is going to do anything to plaque that's in the septum

I started traction and VED in the acute stage - gentle traction and the VED protocol here.  It has not worsened my peyronies and perhaps have slowed things down.   :) Mike
