Title: PMP - how many hours/weeks/months did it take for curvature to improve?
Post by: postrocker on March 06, 2021, 06:05:59 PM
Hi all,

I am now finally managing to use PMP, as I got rid of frenulum and swollen glans issues. At least for now and because of castor oil. So, that's a relief.

The focus now is to get used to the fact that I might need to use PMP for several hours and several months to see any improvements. I already saw girth improvements, but my main concern is curvature.

So I would like to know how long did it take for your curvature to improve. How many hours/weeks/months of use? I remember reading somewhere that you need a couple of hundred hours or something to notice some improvements.

I know that might vary from person to person and some people might not see any improvements. But... Could you share your stories and give a fellow user some good news?

ALSO, for the ones who stopped using the device after some time (for any reasons), did your curvature worsened?

Thanks.

I am currently finishing up with month number 4. I have about 500 hours so far and I have gained about 3/4 of an inch in length and about .5 inch in girth. My curve is a dorsal one with the glans pointing at a 35-45 degree angle. It has helped it somewhat reducing it about 10 degrees - it takes time.

hey mikel,

10 degrees in 4 months seems really great progress. 500 hours is a great effort, congrats.
how long do your sessions last? 1h30? 2h?

i hope to get there soon.

My curvature has reduced ~15-20° in 9 weeks. I got rid of the hinge effect and gained length and girth. I continue with the multimodal treatment, because I'm still in acute phase and have multiple plaque.

My sessions are about 3 hours 2 times a day sometimes 3 sessions a day = 6 hours or 9 hours. I take a short break in between of about 1/2 hour.

I am under 2 months in, no noticable curve fix as yet but i am only managing 3 - 4 hours x 4-5 days a week if im lucky, which must be massively under the minimum required.

Length has increased however, but I don't care about that.

Girth increase has come by using hydromax and lasts 4 - 8 hours the most but then goes down over 24h, took a couple of weeks off and lost all gains which kind of sucks.

I am not using VED yet, but PMP definitely gave me girth.

I am with about 100h of traction and no noticeable improvements in curvature yet. As I had congenital curvature, I don't know if I'll ever see any improvements.

I plan to use the combination of pentox + cialis + PMP + supplements for at least six months (I'm on month 4 now since onset of symptoms) and then reevaluate...

100 hours is great, it may help with a congenital curve.

I've just come back from seeing the Uro for the first time. I am in the UK so rather than waiting for months with the NHS I went private.

I showed him pics of pre-Peyronies, 4 weeks ago and one taken this morning, all in erect state.

Tbh they look like three different penises 😂

He estimated the photo from four weeks ago had a curvature of approx 60 degrees, which is significantly more than I thought it was and the one taken today was around 30 degrees. I am on the usual supplement suspects and started traction 2 weeks ago -

I'm aware that picture don't tell the whole storey and I can't be certain if I was 100% erect in both cases which would clearly make a difference but it's good to know that he thought there was a big improvement in such a short space of time.

Am roughly 2.5 down in length but I will start with the soma correct soon and will continue traction with the PMP.

Congratulations Jimmi,

I would encourage you to post on the improvement Board as well.  That is a critical board where accounts of significant improvement can be assembled in one place, so they do not get lost.

Thanks,
Hawk

So if we have any improvement from our treatments should we  post in the improvement board as well?
Even if it is only a mild improvement?

Hey Jimmi, please let us know any improvements you saw with the addition of the VED. I am only with traction now and plan to continue with so for one or two months more and the reevaluate.

I am also with 2.5mg tadafil/night, wondering if I should increase the dosage...

i upped the dosage to 5 mg and have been getting a lot of boners at night and have been waking up fully erect in the morning so probably a good way to keep the blood flowing when you are sleeping. i take it back down to 2.5 mg if i end up having a few drinks or so as it messes with my pressure a bit

i think taking daily Cialis is the key, and just as important as any other drug/non-surgical device.

I've gone from having little to no NTE to being so hard in the mornings that they actually wake me up, which i absolutely love!

Another question if i may, in the two weeks that i have been using the PMP i have only used the rod expansion system, where my penis is vertical. As i have a curve to the left and an upward curve, would it be beneficial for me to mix it up with the belt system as well so i can target the Plaque more directly, i.e traction the penis to the right or slightly downwards? Although my improvements so far say otherwise, i am conscious that wearing the rod system vertically may not be targeting the plaque on the left hand side as much as it could do?

Thanks

In my case, using the rod system helps, too. I use the belt system only, if I go outside.

How do you guys find the time to do traction for 4-6 hours a day? Are you guys working or in school? I try manual traction for 30 min before I go to bed is that not doing anything

I have been on a medical leave since August of 2020. I don't know about manual traction.
