Title: Modern Inflatable Implant life expectancy
Post by: GaussRifle on February 07, 2021, 05:11:56 PM
Does the forum agree with the average life expectancy of implants to be 10-15 years ? I want to know if real life cases on this forum deviate from the published statistics.

There is no one here and few people in the country that had an implant 15 years ago.  I think average life is closer to the low end of that, however the oldest implant on the forum is probably about 5 years old (Merrix, Alibaba) but we have had no implants that have been replaced because they wore out.  One was replaced because it was damaged by a surgeon doing hernia surgery.
