Title: Shockwave Treatment
Post by: jj21 on December 16, 2020, 08:19:24 AM
Has anyone had any success with shockwave treatment for peyronies? Theres a clinic here offering 5 sessions for 1500 and they say it has good results for ED and Peyronies.

My understanding from their website is that they use an ultrasound to determine location of plaque and then target those areas... However, my ultrasound yielded no plaque (it either was not there or was unable to be detected as per the urologist). So I am wondering if the treatment would still be effective?

After recently spending 1350 for a restorex in Australia and 500 for a 3 chamber VED, i'm hesitant to spend another 1500 for shockwave if iits unlikely to be successful.

Any advice?

Thanks,
JJ

I am spending 287 USD on a shockwave therapy session this week, the doctor is a specialist and told me it gets the best results. I have been taking all the supplements with little effect so I hope this can improve the situation. It's expensive, but it's important.

Have you started your shockwave therapy yet? Any results? Hope so.

Hi, I havent started treatment yet - its 1500 dollars here.

I will be commencing in a few months. All users I spoke to stated that it helped a lot with ED but not so much with curvature.

Please let me know how it goes.

The doctor told me he cured a man, who his wife brought in, whose condition was worse than mine. Now, due to covid, all non essential treatments are suspended until we go back to level 2. I had 4 sessions before this. Effect so far? A little less pain. Is it worth that money? Not so far. I will complete the 6 sessions the doctor advised. If I don't see any change, I will not continue. I am still doing 8/16 intermittent fasting and have also adjusted my supplements as follows:

Pre breakfast
bromelain 500g x1
nattokanese 2,000 1FUs/serrapeptase 120,000 SU x1

Pre dinner
bromelain 500mg x1
l-citrulline 750mg x1
acetyl l-cartitine 1000mg x1

So right now it is not getting worse, but it is also not getting better. It has been about 1 year since first discovered. Keep me updated with your progress.

Thanks heaps, will def keep updated

A lot of clinics say it helps with peyronies but im not sure if they're scamming.

All users here reported it helps with ED but not curvature so still can be beneficial.

Yeah, I'm not convinced that shockwave is worth the money. I have had a lot of stress in my life the last 5 years so I think this could be a factor. Anyway as my research continues, my supplements have been adjusted. See under this message in part below for details.
