Hi!
About to start Pentox...oral. What do I need to know? Side effects?
Please help me out. I should have started way back.
Kind regards
Andreas
I took Pentox for 8 months after my "accident". My penis lateral deviation never got worse. I'm not been taking Pentox for two months, and I feel like my erections are worse, that is why tomorrow I will start Pentox again.
There is no evidence that it decreases curvature . If you're in the stable phase I wouldn't kill yourself getting it. I started it for onset and stopped at stable.. not sure it did anything and most uros will tell you that's it's unlikely to do anything
See:

CONCLUSIONS PTX-R was moderately effective in reducing penile curvature and plaque volume in patients with early chronic Peyronies Disease.
Also, worsening curveature was much more likely in the control group-so if you see neither improvement or worsening it could be helpful at halting progression.
Thanks! Did you have any bad Side effects?
I'd like to build on this question about what to know about Pentox - What dose is recommended? The survivor's guide says 3x400mg/day but I just want to check what amount people are taking or if anyone has been prescribed another dosage than that.
Would be grateful for any input!
I have been prescribed a 2x400mg dose yesterday. So far having a bit of cramps but other than that feeling fine.
My urologist prescribed 2x400mg per day, along with Arginine/Citrulline and low-dose Cialis. After 3 months of use, I have noticed no significant side effects from the Pentox.
It's just a blood thinner so the biggest risk is bleeding out.. I bit my tongue which was brutal. You can go down the rabbit hole online studies or Top urologists who suggest it but evidence is extremely limited of any benefit besides feeling like you're doing something.. in my opinion.

Any improvements on the curvature?
I would say no improvement on the curvature, but in my case it is early acute stage and the main goal is stopping further progression. Not stabilized yet. I am doing a combination of oral medication, VED, and ESWT. Long story short - noticeable improvement in the hourglassing/indentation, but little change in the curvature. What role Pentox is playing in that I could not tell you.
In the first month after i noticed an indent with a bend of probably a little under 20° i think it progressed to a little over 20°. I started taking Pentox after that and there doesn't seem to have been any progression in the 5 months since then. No reduction in bend but the pentox quite possibly stopped progression. Though it could have also had something to do with the L-citrulline or CoQ10 i started at the same time.
