Title: Considering Permanent Sutures.
Post by: Tugglespa on November 09, 2020, 09:36:52 PM
Hey guys, I'm 21 and I've had 3 Plication surgeries. All of them my erections have ripped them , they are very firm and I'm nearly 7 inches. So today I went to the Dr for my last follow up and my curve to the right is back to the same at 40° to the right. It's super difficult for intercourse. So he's recommending I get permanent sutures because while the sutures were in it was straight but when they started ripping it went back to the right again. Anyone have any advice for me or has permanent sutures? What do you think I should do? I'm really really tired of this ahah.

Permanent sutures don't make any difference to me. I mean, the overall thinking behind this is that permanent sutures keep the penis straight. So, I wonder, if you take them off years after a surgery, you get back crooked? In my case taking them off left me the same way. I explicitly asked them off as many other do and the reason is permanent sutures might create discomfort, reactions, fibrosis, pain and so on. Anyway, I think there is still a debate going on on this and no univocal answer. To me permanent sutures are just bad.

Plication 3x with absorbable and they all popped every time within days. While the sutures were there, I was straight but when I felt them pop it started going back to the curve. Which is why I was thinking that permanent may be the best option since I keep popping the others.

Maybe you haven't seen a good surgeon.
