Title: If not peyronnies, what could it be?
Post by: bendywilliams on October 10, 2020, 08:29:10 AM
Hi guys,

I'll try to get to the point.  I have a penis that currently curves about 45 degrees to my left when soft, and about 30 when erect.  The right side of the penis (my right) is longer and thicker than the other side.  There is no sharp curve, just a gradual curve from the base to the tip.  I can not feel any rings or scars, the penis feels the same throughout.

I didn't have this curve in my penis when I was younger, but I noticed it was thicker in the middle. Then it got a little thicker, and over 10-15 years, it is now where it is.  When I get an erection the side that's longer gets a little sore and continues to be a little sore after masturbating/sex.

Everywhere I read says that the peyronnies affected side gets shorter and hurts, but for me, the longer side is what hurts.

I've had problems with ED my whole life... not in that it couldn't get up at all, but I could only achieve 70% of my erections as compared to my best erections.  I used to be able to take viagra/cialis and even my penis touching my boxers would get me erect, but now the medicine barely does anything. I now have to these pills just to have a medium hard dick.  This obviously gets me depressed because at least before medicine worked.

I am on TRT, so it's not the hormones. My testosterone is high-normal. Sorry for the long post... I appreciate it if you could give me some ideas on what this could be?   I read congenital curves can develop over time... but if it's congenital, wouldn't you just be born with it?

Your born w a cogenital curve and it does not worsen w time.  If it's worsened w time it could very well be Peyronies Disease.  Pain does not indicate where the plaque is.  Have you read the survival guide?

Hey Tony, tha is for replying.

I did check out the post but didn't see anything much about peyronnies, and everywhere I've read that you should feel the plaque or a ring where it bends.  My penis wants to hang the opposite side of the longer side. So if I'm on my back, if it's flaccid especially, it will lay on the left side.  If it's hard, it will lay toward the left, and if I try to set it upright it will bounce back to the left when I let it go.  It's like there is a chord pulling it to the left, esp when erect. The left side is the shorter side.  I feel no plaque and the pain I have had from sex or masturbation has been opposite of the short side, on the longer side of the penis.

Are there any doctors specialized for this that I can look up for my area (western PA)?  I assume most urologists wouldn't have a clue. Thanks

Have you done any test to rule out peronies?

No tests, not sure a regular urologist would know this kind of stuff.

Same problem with me. I live in a third world country. Doctor's here don't know things about peronies. My uro says, peronies doesn't cause shortening.
