I didn't know it was on sale. I imagine it will take some time to use before seeing plaque reduction. I do believe shockwave is a part of teh future of therapy as these shockwaves can break apart the plaques with other diseases. However I know gainswave is not true shockwave, only acoustic wave and doctor Goldstein said gainswave is a shame. Must use true shockwave. But I imagien if used often and over time this could help. Has anyone called the company? Heck I have spent more in supplements would love to get some feedback on someone who has tried this for a few months
what was the sale price? The full price right now is $849.00
Shockwave has not shown any promise w Peyronie's.

No posting disinformation here TonySa I am not sure how studied you are on shockwave, I am years in studied of shockwave. Please delete false information. Just a 10 second google search will show you. And this was in 2016, more advancements and clinical trials since then For example "LiESWT remains a useful and valid minimally invasive treatment option for men with Peyronies Disease who have failed conventional medical therapy and are not keen to undergo surgical intervention. In a carefully selected group of men with Peyronies Disease, LiESWT appears to be safe, has moderate efficacy in improving penile curvature and pain, and is associated with high level of acceptance and patient satisfaction rate." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4893523/
Few years ago I had a treatment with Shockwave for Dupuytren in my hand from a official therapist.
NO SUCCES, waste of money!
Alter, from your article:
Comparative studies between LiESWT with other treatment modality showed that LiESWT is not superior to other options (1,11,12) and when used in combination with other therapeutic options such as intralesional injection or tadalafil for men with Peyronies Disease and ED, there were improvements in erectile function score and quality of life score while the plaque size and curvature were unchanged (24).
Basically it says it MAY prove helpful in a very small subset of patients: acute phase, young men w only a slight bend...
The new protocol is to do it with erect penis everyone is doing shockwave in flaccid state is not going to get same results. acoustic impedance
Well, at its best it seems to be in its infancy and is very expensive. If one could easily afford it-great, just add other strategies with better current outcomes.
this seems interesting, but upon further reading it seems that it's not quite the same as real shockwave therapy; if it's like the gainswave it uses acoustic waves even though they still market it as shockwave it's not true shockwave. Still, I would be willing to try it if I could afford it, anything at this point really if it doesn't cause more harm.
Wish someone would buy it so we know if any improvement.
A lot of disinformation here. 1. Acoustic waves = shockwaves. 2. Treatment need not be performed on an erect penis.
I purchased The Phoenix today and will provide an update in the coming weeks.
Shockwave is not too promising. Ultrasound is more promising, if at all.
Dr. Trost mentions in one of his videos that he thinks shockwave is possibly more harmful than good. No way I'm going to try a 1000$ device like that until I have a bit more reason to.

You are spreading misinformation. Acoustic wave does not = shockwave. All acoustic wave means is sound wave. GainsWave is not shockwave for example. A shockwave is s specific type of wave that has the following properties: a shock wave (also spelled shockwave), or shock, is a type of propagating disturbance that moves faster than the local speed of sound in the medium. Like an ordinary wave, a shock wave carries energy and can propagate through a medium but is characterized by an abrupt, nearly discontinuous, change in pressure, temperature, and density of the medium. 2. You are incorrect for it to be effective it does. I refer you to Dr. Goldstein's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLI6CY_NxAo&feature=emb_logo who has done clinical trials in both flaccid and erect state and this is his conclusion after workign with hundreds or thousands of patients with shockwave

Acoustic wave does not = shockwave.
"Shockwaves (SWs) are acoustic waves that carry energy and when propagating through a medium, can be targeted and focused noninvasively to affect a distant selected anatomical region." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3607492/

Let me clarify the basics of physics. Shockwave is s TYPE of acoustic wave. Acoustic wave is a broader term than a specific wave type aka shockwave. Gainswave is not a shockwave it is only an acoustic wave it does not carry the same wave structure as a shockwave. Urogold 100 does carry the unique shockwave acoustic properties and it is a shockwave, which again is a type of acoustic wave. Hope that helps. Shocwave has verified results when done on erect penis as shown on ultrasound that scar tissue has diminished.
Are not the Phoenix Pro and Phoenix instruments for erectile dysfunction? If true, then why post this in Peyronie's Disease TREATMENT discussion board?

If you just bother to look at the website it says also for peyronies lol my lord
Phoenix products are made the Gainswave people, apparently.
Has anybody tried Phoenix Pro?
Any pics to post showing results, before/after?
TonySa - the study still says Shockwave can help. Also has promising results for ED which many of us are also suffering.
Definitely worth posting. I'm goign through it now - 3000 shocks for peyronies and another 3000 for ED (diff procedure).
Have noticed slight reduction in pain and a litttle bit of Girth improvement. I have done 5 of the 12 sessions so far.
Shockwave machines from China are not expensive, under $300 I think, so less than any of the better original extenders, if not vacuum devices. I would consider to buy one if safety was not a concern. Most of the many published studies that I read about actually are positive, but certainly one was not, which was criticised, and it may be that much depends on the settings used. So for anyone open to risk and to "take one for the team" it would be great to hear about it. As with the extenders the kit could be re sold so the total cost could be minimal.
Project - im going through the treatment now - will keep updating.
is there any data to show that it works for ed ? for people with high bmi , obesity , heart issues etc ?
i saw a video on youtube about arterial plaque in the penis and this device was recommended for the same.
how do we know / detect presence of arterial plaque in the penis and
how do we know this device helps break it down ?

Did you ever report back and say how it worked out for you?
I suppose, one of the most basic questions could be, can you focus ESWT energy to target scar tissue only, or do you think it doesn't matter?
So causing micro trauma on a penis with scar tissue helps?, my penis is deformed because of a trauma, why a device that is not FDA approved that cause micro trauma would help?
Please can you update. Has shackwave helped? Much appreciated
I purchased Phoenix from the site directly. I can say that while I was using it, it helped with sensitivity slightly. But as soon as I stopped, that went away. So it may have been placebo. Certainly not a long term solution. I imagine if someone doesn't have peyronie's, it could add a little umph to their game. But for Peyronie's folks... nada...
I have one. I find it way too loud. And a treatment is about 30 minutes. Too much time.
I think the in-office treatments are more effective. My Phoenix is collecting dust.
I had 11 sessions of LiESWT specifically for Peyronie's. It did NOT help curvature. However, it did help with erections. I did not have ED issues, but the erections were still more firm than they were before the treatments. In conclusion:
ED help = yes
Peyronie's help = NO
