Hi there. I have been having pain for the past six months during which I got c.30 degrees curve. It is mostly erection pain and almost no pain when flaccid. Did anyone experience this sort of pain and did it last years? I was wondering whether this pain will last forever.

Hi JoshuaV!

As far as the pain you are currently dealing with, have you tried any treatments? Heat therapy is recommended (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPfsF4KQPRg) as well as OTC anti-inflammatories (Ibuprofen, Advil, etc.). If the pain is very bad, your urologist can also prescribe a stronger pain medication.

Generally speaking, pain is known to eventually subside (usually in 6-12 months) in most cases of Peyronie's Disease. But we have seen cases where unfortunately a Peyronies Disease patient will have chronic pain for many years. Starting early, conservative treatments (oral, traction, etc.) can help with healing and hopefully reduce the pain over time.
26 years old. 20 degree upward curve with slight clockwise twist. Symptoms onset Dec 20.
Dr. Levine says it's not Peyronie's Disease but a slow healing wound. Saw him Mar 21 and May 21.
Traction (PMP) and supplements per Dr. Levine's recommendation.

Thanks for your reply. Updated signature. Pain is bearable and I can live with it as long as it does not increase. It is annoying though. Thank you for your suggestions.

I was asked to carry out a blood test (which I have done and nothing resulted from the test) and now I have been referred to a urologist.
