Title: Hourglassing causing top half of penis to be soft, anyone else?
Post by: ohnoohno on February 08, 2023, 06:20:22 AM
So at the moment, some time in the day I try to get erect to make sure my little guy still somewhat alive lol... This and will try VED in the evening...

Anyway I just made myself erect and I realised above my hourglass/affected area is softer than below...

My plaque started on right side below the glans causing a right curve, then has somehow moved to the left/top part which has caused the hour glass but almost made it more straight lol - bitter sweet.

So my shaft is pretty unaffected and is straight and rock solid but my glans/just below glans is way softer, i'm thinking that this is cause the blood is being cut off by the hourglass or something?

Anyone else get this?

Yes, I have a tight band of tissue just below my glans. There is some instability due to the tightening of the tissue. I believe it is scarring restricting blood flow. Have you been using your somacorrect? Have you seen any improvement with that device? I have one too.

VED can help this a little if used consistently. I have never heard of it removing the hour glassing permanently but it definitely helps with increased blood flow.

That sounds a better way to put it "a tight band of tissue below the glans" and the restricting blood flow, sounds like me...

Honestly I'm travelling right now and not using the SomaCorrect/VED daily but I try as much as possible so can't define if its helping or not... I'm not sure if anything I'm doing is helping or not unfortunately as I've mainly seen things get a bit worse but im not sure if thats just naturally getting worse or cause of what ive tried... When I first got into this world I saw "manual traction" and believe I damaged myself from this and it's just been a ripple effect... oh well I guess... I'm going to try be more consistent with the VED as Mikel7 says, hoping it helps! It is what my urologist in London said to keep doing so...

Yeah keep me updated ohnoohno our cases sound similar. I also have a somacorrect and have been using it the past 3 days. Unfortunately it seems to be getting worse as well. I don't think there are very many good options for HG/narrowing.

If it doesn't get better soon I may just get the implant and possibly urofill to recover solidity accross my whole shaft and restore girth. Just tired of this man it's only been 3 months but I am tired of all these treatments that seem to barely help if at all.

I understand in the UK it is quite difficult to get an IPP but I know of a guy there about our age that got one and is thrilled with the result PM me if you want his contact I am sure he would be happy to speak with you.

What does this do exactly? Haven't heard of urofill..

Yes I'll let you know should I need the contact, if I go through with it I'll go for a great doctor, even someone like Dr Eid I guess or whoevers the best! Not sure how I'll get the funds together for any of this though.. but it is nice to know there is a option out there

Urofill is a dermal filler for girth enhancement. It was developed by Dr. Perito.

Dr. Hakky who I plan on using for my IPP is doing them as well. I talked to one guy that got it from Hakky and he is satisfied.

One guy in Europe that does it as well. See here:

Yes, I have had it since the Peyronies Disease got worse in 2019. It has gotten better since the Verapamil injections I have had since but still not back to what it was before.

You are right, it is the plaque restricting the blood flow. One option is to have surgery as others have suggested. The easier option is to give traction, VED and daily Tadalafil a go. For me, the daily Tadalafil makes all the difference.

Then again, that is me, I have accepted that my penis will never be like before. Still, I can enjoy sex whenever I want to as long as I follow my regime of the three things I mentioned above. That is also by far the least invasive treatment, and any treatment like surgery etc. does come with a risk. Have you tried these things before considering any kind of surgery/filling?

Yeah I'll continue with my VED / Cialis for now, some manual traction too.. I'm kind of just researching in advance to know more about IPP
